The final nail in our Top4 coffin. We deserve nothing.
Not too bothered with that.... we don't buy the players to compete...we all want to be in it but we not setup to win trophies of that or the EL as an example.

Happy to get 8th.... have a fire sale and clear the decks. Bring in a manager who can build something.

We have Newcastle on Sunday the 23rd, Manchester United Thursday the 27 and Liverpool on Sunday the 30th, it is very likely that we will confirm our participation in the ECL by the end of the April :ROFLMAO:

don’t we still have to go to villa as well?

Reap what you sow Daniel....

It's all coming home to roost now.

I mean we don't deserve this but Levy does.

Spineless.

Looks like we'll get caught by Brighton, Villa and Liverpool, which would probably be a good thing - 8th is low enough to avoid any European football, right?

Title should be changed to 'Race for Europe', because theres a very good chance we don't make it there at all.

A finish around 7/8 might be a blessing. A much needed reset, perhaps a rebuild, and lowering the expectations.

We are not progressing anyway, so a timeout from the moneyball spinning CL can do us good?

Meh - perhaps just me trying to feel better, and trying to cope with reality.
We know what chief in charge wants and is satisfied with. This level and slightly above. Nothing more.

There is part of me that thinks we'd be well off for a season out of Europe and focus purely on domestic competition.

But this would only work if we sold our fringe players. As we won't be able to do this, it makes it a bit pointless.

Agree.

But it would probably result in selling the best players, not the fringe.
That's the sad part.

This season we really have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

We could easily of had third wrapped up and a good cup run where anything could of happened.

So frustrating it's ending with us on the beach with 7 games to go.

Worse to come is St. To**ering Day which could be 2mo. Followed by the gooners winning the prem and Jack twatface joining the open top bus just to rub it in.

(I'm gonna spend the rest of my evening listening to the entire Adele album catalogue).
