he's gone but his quote about any managers coming in and it not changing anything is right.

It's depressing because ultimately we will be here and watching the next manager fail under similar circumstances.

I'm bored of this now.
The board/Levy need to change/improve as does their football strategy for sure but I don’t agree that no manager can do well under our current model especially as we’ve started to spend more money since the stadium opened, Jol, Redknapp and Poch all did very well all things considered and the right fit of manager can do well for us again.

The issue is that Jose, Nuno and Conte all play the same style and are all quite negative characters, I just don’t think they suit a club like us at all and so yes if we hire another manager in their ilk like a Simione for example and play yet more turgid defensive football then I think we will get more of the same but if we bring Poch back or get L.Enrique or De Zerbi or Kompany or possibly Tuchel etc then I think with momentum from the crowd and the right style to fit the players and club I think we can win, we’ve been very very close under Poch and if he’d had the budget Conte has had I think he’d have won us a trophy 100%.

Next managerial appointment is crucial that it’s the right fit, no more negativity no more boring Football, the players and fans need a lift and something to get excited about and believe in.

I don't even think it will be a messy divorce - too many people want to place all the blame on him - so when he leaves, everyone will forget all the other short-comings at the club, and just assume it was all Conte.

I dunno, I think he might be doing us a favour as he walks out the door. The chairman and players should be getting shit from the fans, it shouldn't just be brushed under the carpet like it has been every time.

The football has been poor but I’m absolutely on his side here with everything he says. The rot starts from the top. The players are too comfortable.

fucking hell, it's actually worse when you see him say it.. full meltdown. Can't argue against it, though.

Regardless of what you think of him, Conte is saying what most of us have said for years now.

Exactly.

Finally someone at the club visibly and publicly angry at the shit show Levy presides over.

The fans’ reaction?

“Gosh, this is a bit much. Poor Mr Levy. I hope he gives him a good talking to tomorrow.”

We are a pathetic fanbase, addicted to underperformance and mediocrity.

That's my point, he is playing the best players at the club.

I dont think theres any stand out youth players that can realistically hold their own in the Prem currently.

And Danjuma is an average player that was a squad filler in the scenario that Moura couldnt get fit.
The calls for him to play are much like the calls for Wimmer to play over Vertonghen...laughable. Danjuma is never going to start over Son and rightly so.
At the end its not about our Individual quality in the team really. Surely we could do with another CB but the point is, players need confidence. A path they believe in, a system suiting their qualities, a clear mind that they do not have a safe spot in the team whatever they do. Squad players need to be given Chances to earn they place. To keep Motivation and spirit high so you can Form a competitive unit where players can accept their roles and know what to Do to improve them.

Conte lacks massively here... In all aspects.

This squad is Individual more than good enough to beat Saints, Sheffield, Leicester or even Milan. 100%

His comments about the same players etc are laughable.

Forster; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Porro, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Davies; Deki, Kane, Son

And Davies went off for Perisic, a Conte signing

4 players from Poch squad, 5 from Mourinho. Of those players 2 are Kane and Son.

So either he is blaming Son and Kane or he is placing all the blame on Davies, Dier or Hojbjerg.

He is just ranting to deflect blame and get himself sacked and he needs to go now.

He say's they don't want to play under pressure, under stress. He's absolutely right, been like that for years.
Yet he plays a system and style that does nothing but put pressure and stress on the worse players on the pitch. Technically and mentally.
To blame everyone but himself is bullshit.

That said, he may have just done us the biggest favour. Getting himself the sack, while nailing down some home truths to Levy and co.

At the very least he has allowed us to inch debates on here forward, a manager has called the owners out on the record, he pinned them responsible for a team that doesn't want pressure. There can be no hiding behind the suggestion that fans are the only ones who claim the owners lack the ambition to do what needs to be done. Conte, a winner who had won the league in his last job, this guy is not a manager past his peak, he was at it, until us.

God how pathetic These quotes are. Please end this Farce. Sherwood seems like an ingame Genius compared to Conte...

Gilet Timmy even had similar results on his stint after AVB than Conte had last season after Nuno. And Conte was praised as messiah for that whereas Timmy was deemed cancer. Seems Conte had nothing over that half a season motivational streak. This season a lucky start and shit for ages after that, carried by teams stars.

Watching him say this, and his expressions, mannerisms and body language show that he's done.

Go get the guitar.

that presser is the best thing he's done for this club.

unfortunately we all know he'll be gone soon and the players won't have to answer to anyone. they'll get another pass.

That’s the way Conte, fairs fucks to him he stays true to form unlike our players.

Burn this shit down on your way out. He’s just saying what everyone is thinking, only problem is he’s the one person whose not supposed to say it out loud. :ROFLMAO:
