On the day Chelsea and Arsenal are out spending, our chief guy is getting banned from spending, only Italy I know, but still Levy will be happy, no self imposed ban needed this time…

Absolutely needs to be gone imo. Can’t have a paid employee at this senior a position embroiled in this. Just reflects awfully on all our dealings. Especially during a potential takeover.

Except him leaving means Conte is almost certainly gone too and then we’re stuck with just Levy again and our thumbs up our arses (as always)…

Oh behave considering the competition these days. This might even get him an interview to join this country's government. It's all bent now. ??

Fair point but this investigation was pending when he was appointed. Was a huge gamble.

Got Romero, Bentancur, Kulu & Conte though hehe
@spurs9, what he said… ^^^^

The investigation opened in November 2022, according to what I can find online. Where are you getting that they were being investigated in July 2021?

From the wording, it only looks like he's banned from working in football in Italy. Is that right?

or he could’ve, you know, employed due diligence and looked into the claims and rumours of dodgy accounting that have surrounded Juventus for some time

We appointed him in July 2021 and first news came out in Nov 2021? Don't think Italian authorities were going to give Levy advanced notice

Our club is like a soap opera.

Tune in for Monday Night Football where 3 spurs players are fined for warming up on the touchline. Naked.

Man sure knew how to bend the rules and got us some good stuff. Shame he went a bit too far while at Juve.

Chance for a full reset, get Rangnick in as DofF, let him hire the manager, it’ll be someone who plays pressing attractive football and we go from there.

If only ey

This scandal and the whole general shit show that spurs is atm reminds me of Harchester Utd from the TV show Dream Team, next Harry Kane will be banned for drugs and an earthquake will hit tottenham so the stadium splits in half ? this club man ?‍♂️

Keep reading this as ‘Paratici sectioned for 2.5 years’.

Working with Levy would make me go pretty crazy to be fair

If the club are seriously looking to take investment he’ll be gone in a matter of days. Would you invest in a business where a person with significant influence had a fraud conviction? It brings the club and its operations into disrepute.

Were Spurs fans up in arms over the Redknapp court case?

No because we were winning games.

As for our reputation?

I think given the football pundits and hacks don't say diddly about Newcastle being owned by an unrepentant murderer, then surely Paratici get's an appeal to tell his side of it.

Part of me feels like this is a fitting punishment for Juventus, a club that are still harbouring ambitions of creating a super league

Not a fair comparison. Paratici is apparently the mastermind, whereas Redknapps dog fcuked him over

Chill out
Not a Q obvs but surely the club will force him to resign as this is seriously bad PR alone. Unless during the appeal it gets overturned but very unlikely.

Resignation incoming methinks.

If it means we get Ragnick and we do a full re-set then all is forgiven ?
