Absolutely needs to be gone imo. Can’t have a paid employee at this senior a position embroiled in this. Just reflects awfully on all our dealings. Especially during a potential takeover.

Except him leaving means Conte is almost certainly gone too and then we’re stuck with just Levy again and our thumbs up our arses (as always)…

The Detroit Lions had Payton Manning fill a bathtub with whiskey and perform a seance to clear their curse.... I almost feel like we need the same.

Someone want to see what Xabi Alonso or Thiago Motta are up to? :ROFLMAO:

Surely the club did its due diligence before appointing Fabio? This is a problem, and very embarrassing.

A cynic might suggest that this would enable Daniel to take control of.. well, everything! This is a concern.
What due dilligance could the club have done to uncover that Juve had misrepresented their losses?

Fair point but this investigation was pending when he was appointed. Was a huge gamble.

Got Romero, Bentancur, Kulu & Conte though hehe

So tell me how the interview and background check went?

Interview:
Levy: so Fabio, have you been doing any dodgy bullshit at Juve

Fabio: yes, I did. I can provide references to show I did.

Reference check:
THFC: please confirm Fabio for dodgy transfer shit

Juve:. Dodgy as fcuk. We facing a shit storm.

Levy: fantastic, I see no problems.

Wtf, was Levy supposed to do? Get Juve and Fabio to confess to something that wasn't public knowledge yet?

or he could’ve, you know, employed due diligence and looked into the claims and rumours of dodgy accounting that have surrounded Juventus for some time

Pretty clear Levy isn't falling on his sword in the immediate term, so here's what I would do if I were him:
  1. Give Antonio an ultimatum: sign now, or lets part ways amicably.
  2. Get on the phone to Mauricio. He knows the club, he wants to come and we need someone who can hit the ground running. As keen as I am for someone like Gallardo, we need someone who knows the place.
  3. Confirm with him if he wants Porro. If he does, close the fucking deal.

Personally I think it would be a shame if he went. He certainly seems to be good judge of player on the whole. Certainly 100 x better than Levy taking lead. I’m not sure I see him staying now tho.

Thing I’m trying to understand is why is his ban the worst. It’s as if he was the instigator of the whole thing.
Not getting Kvaratskhelia in the Summer if the rumors were true that we looked at him was pretty poor imo. When you see a player like that take on the Spanish national team and look like a grown up playing against kids, then it should be obvious the level of talent.

That said, his signings on the whole have been good.
