It's def looking that way and needs some hefty investment. Let's hope that these noises of investment being made aren't just that.

No need to read too much into his first game with 48 hours? With the squad. Everything is new, the system, the intensity, the instructions.
Positives for me was seeing balls played in behind their defence for our wing backs, we got in behind them alot tonight and thats something we havn't seen it a while.
Saw someone say this Vitesse team were a mid table championship team at best. Bizzare, I thought Vitesse looked very very good in both games to be fair to them, they remind me alot of Leeds, balls to the wall high press lots of men in attack, plus they clearly have some very technically gifted players. A team we should beat all in all but don't disrespect them and call them a mid table championship team, they're very well coached and technically good.

My point is - the object on defense is to keep the ball out of the net. We did that. Everything else is noise.
Did we tire? Sure. But, the players always did enough to keep them out. Credit the players, imo.
Exactly. Perversely, Letting them back in to the match will help Conte more than winning 3-0
He can try but I really don’t want to see him in a starting eleven anytime soon.
As did most of the team especially Reggie.
