I'll go for Kane as his return to form gives so much hope. Brilliant by our other Academy product too. And big shout to Ndombele, another who gives do much hope if he hits peak form
Also so happy Son and Gil non Covid
Please please let's see the Son and Kane of old. Best wishes to Gil on Thursday as surely he plays
Now win the next four games Spurs and suddenly the season is alive again and full of joy

Besides the moment of awareness and humanity that was incredible, Reguilon’s on pitch performance was top as well. Back to his electric best, and my motm.

Tanguy was brilliant too, Lucas drove the team forward on so many occasions with skill and drive, the pivot was outstanding as well. Don’t see a ton of praise for Hojbjerg, who I thought was a class above. Skipp just as good.

Could tell Romero and Emerson were tired in the first half, but both grew in stature and had solid second halves.

We hate playing against the press...so today was made for us . Newc stood off and left wide open spaces .We've not seen anyone remotely so poor this season imo...even the Conference minnows worked hard .

So its tough to judge much on this . Coupla flashes from Kane (7) but he's not creating his own chance as of yore ,hope he
improves . Sonny (6) tired from his trip imo ,not at his best . NDombele (8) with space like this can do damage.

Whatever, its great to have a turnaround , hope we kick on with a real test vs Spammers

I gave it to Skippy, some vital interceptions, he was on the ball proper today, great work off the ball too, he allowed Ndombele to concentrate on the sexy stuff and not the defensive side.

Ndombele was close, but as he wont be given that much space and time in most matches hence why gave it to skippy ... However if Ndombele can do that against better, more organised teams then we have some exciting bums off seat times ahead coming from him (y) .. PS well taken goal from him

Well I guess I am about to bring an unpopular opinion based on the comments before mine.
I didn't think Kane or Hojberg played all that great.
Hojberg, for me, looked at times like he did towards the end of the season, tired.
Kane played ok, but feel people are ranking him higher because they want him to do well.
Moura, I get the people who think he is the weak link because his end product isn't great. But, I think he plays an important role in driving forward and breaking up play, winning plenty of fouls.
Skipp, many don't appreciate how positionally astute he is. He appears everywhere, not by accident and picks the opposition's pockets. He doesn't have to make many lung busting surges chasing his man because of having a great starting position.

Thought that was probably NDom’s best game for us, think he shaded the MoM but went for team effort.
Thought after the 3rd minute we totally controlled the game, Hugo came out to claim a couple of crosses, apart from that he was totally untested.
Defensively sound, two rubbish goals to give away mind you and should have been far more clinical.
I know it was only Newcastle, who I thought were extremely poor and I really hope they go down, but that was the most comfortable I’ve seen us in ages.

Kane for me. Much, much better from him. Solid case for NDom or Skipp as well though.

-1000 for the Saudi murderer wankathon by the media and Newc fans though.
I find it distasteful in the extreme that the human rights and other atrocities committed by Saudi Arabia is being conveniently ignored. I would like to think that I wouldn't be the same if it happened to spurs.

Some excellent performances all round today.

Good victory

Dunno what it is with Kane and his slow starts (at least in the league), but once he gets started he generally doesn't stop till the end

Huge difference in the last two games where we played more on the front foot and wanted to control the game. I think the team is just looking better doing so.

I think if Nuno carries on like this I can see if challenging top 6, maybe even top 4 since Kane has decided to play more up top. Him being up top means players can actually play the ball through the midfield and have a target man to get too, which we used a lot today.

Several contenders
which is nice.
Ndombele probably the pick
but called it for
team effort.
to encourage les autres.

No subs?
Weird, Nuno.

Team -8/10 good win and performance in difficult atmosphere especially after going behind so early.

Lloris - 6 couldn’t do much with either goal. Not much else to do

Emerson - 6 defended ok and got forward fairly ok. Needs time

Romero - 7 solid

Dier 6 - unlucky og otherwise good game

Regullion - 8 one of best games for us , maurading forward ;)

Skipp - 7 was everywhere. Platform to make us tick

PEH - 7 nice assist

Ndombele - 8 great goal and many moments of magic. Played 94 mins. Keep it up tangy

Lucas - 6 nice breakaway runs , unlucky to not score header

Son - 7 goal and generally decent

Kane 8 - goal, assist, all round play much more like himself

Aside from first 10 mins we played really well. Hope we can play just as well against West Ham next weekend

Nice to have so many choices For motm.

lloris did all that was asked of him and commanded his area.
reggie his best game this season and Newcastle struggled with his forward runs, if he can improve the end product in the final third Would be top notch.
Romero and Dier both had couple of moments but looking a solid pairing and we’re more adventurous with passing into midfield, albeit Newcastle vacated that area.
emerson was solid enough and credit for continuing to work up and down the flank, he was tireless when he could have been forgiven for sitting Back more.
Skipp and PEH controlled that midfield and really laid a base for our dominance in that area.
‘Ndombele thrived in the space Newcastle afforded him, quality finish and great to see 90 minutes of effort.
son lots of effort and got the goal but not at his best which is a high standard.
moura settled in to have a solid game with some incisive runs.
‘Kane too clever for Newcastle on the goal and great to see him on the scoresheet.

nuno, got the team right and playing more progressively. Newcastle were dreadful and we toyed with them. Would have liked to see him use his bench as we could have stepped up and battered Newcastle they were that poor.

Not to put a damper on your predictions but it was Newcastle. A team rooted in the bottom 3 at this moment in time.
