That will eventually make bundles of money the team is a bit meh.Thank goodness we have such a wonderful stadium.

Jose stays until the end of the season. Period. We cannot afford another Sherwood style disaster.
Top of the league (for a stint), being regarded as title contenders by almost every pundit (yes, that got a little derailed) and a cup final since forever...
How else were we meant to get there then?look how we got there though, we beat 2 championship teams ( none overly convincing) a bye against orient, and pens against the chavs.
That is... bizarre. We didn't beat them. We knocked them out on penalties - still counts as a draw.
Harry is right - it's up to the manager to get the best out of him - Jose barely trying
Bale, Alli can't get in this side - absurd
Bloody hell, let's see a few other average players:Thanks for confirming my point.
Wow. You think all of this tripe comes down to one man? That the players don't have an iota of responsibility?
What I saw today and against Brighton, was exactly the same level of shit we saw under Poch during his final 4 months.
Please, cut the crap with this 'Jose has ruined us' excuse.
Has he helped us? Improved us? Made our players better? None of the above. That much is true. I agree.
But if you think hiring a new manager will get those sad sack of shit players to perform better, you're mistaken.
Yes, Jose will go. That ship has sailed now. I'm sure that will please many. But stop with this blinkered argument that it's all his fault. That implies there's some easy, magical fix out there that will see us rising like a phoenix from a pile of manure.
It takes a lot of non-effort and indifference to fall as we have. The players don't and should not be let off the hook. Nor Daniel. Nor the back room staff. Everyone is culpable in our demise. Not just one man. That type of comment is riddled with an agenda and conveniently ignores what is right in front of our faces... THE CLUB IS IN FUCKING SHAMBLES.
No one person shoulders the blame. Nor is one person responsible for turning the ship around. It takes a village. And right now, our village is on fire. Yet, as is the way with football, the most expedient, easy thing to do is 86 the manager. Which I have no doubt will now happen. But our sickness runs deep. It's systemic. And that will take time to figure out.
Ah the list of players argument when we're talking about the likes of Davies, Sissoko, Winks, Dier etc etc ... Yeah, average.Bloody hell, let's see a few other average players:
Robben - rather average at Real, rather fantastic at Bayern,
Sneijder - rather average at Real, rather stunning at Inter,
Van der Vaart - rather average at Real, rather wonderful at Tottenham,
Forlan - dog shit for United, legend for Villareal,
Salah - who? under Mourinho, need not say more here.
Would you say any of the above are/were average players?
What I'm saying is that just because a player has difficulties adapting to a manager's style, doesn't mean he's average. We all know what Doherty's strength is. Has he once played in that role for us? Does it make him average?
Wish that was the case but in the first half the gulf between the two sides was massive. We were embarrassing and could hardly string two passes together. Their players were assured in all they did. The second half was better but it could hardly have been worse.Mendy made the same number of saves as Lloris (1)
and they couldn't score in open play.
We donated the goal.
Vinicius should have levelled it at the end.
Not arguing we were any good
but Chelsea weren't a whole lot better
Neither side top four.
But they took the positive step
of changing their Manager in good time.
I'm sorry were they all not CL finalists? As we know only average players get there.Ah the list of players argument when we're talking about the likes of Davies, Sissoko, Winks, Dier etc etc ... Yeah, average.
They didn't need to.We were very lucky Chelsea didn’t really turn up last night.
Hmm, I don't know where you're trying to go with this, honestly.I'm sorry were they all not CL finalists? As we know only average players get there.
I'm trying to prove to you that just because a player can't cope with a specific (and in this case the football equivalent of a quantum physics university course) system, it doesn't make them average. For you, it's black and white. JM has to assess the strengths of his players, as Poch did in his two best seasons, and let them do it.Hmm, I don't know where you're trying to go with this, honestly.
I don't make the rules, mateThat is... bizarre.
You read the bit about the two different philosophies from two different managers right?I'm trying to prove to you that just because a player can't cope with a specific (and in this case the football equivalent of a quantum physics university course) system, it doesn't make them average. Agree, the cards couldn't have landed any better and that actually might carry on as if City make the semi final of the Champions league the first leg is the Tuesday/Wednesday after the Sunday final ,every little helps!look how we got there though, we beat 2 championship teams ( none overly convincing) a bye against orient, and pens against the chavs.
And you read the bit that in his last year Poch effectively reverted to a carbon copy of what JM is doing now? Sitting deep and counters. Didn't work for him and isn't working now.You read the bit about the two different philosophies from two different managers right?
So they can't follow either so that makes them average if they can't do either ... Right?
Why are you going in circles with this?
Jose is getting £15m per annum to make us perform, yes we can blame the players, the tea lady and mini me but ultimately the self proclaimed Special One is out-dated and no longer a menace in the premier lge. Our football has gone backwards.
That was 2/3+ years ago ...And you read the bit that in his last year Poch effectively reverted to a carbon copy of what JM is doing now? Sitting deep and counters. Didn't work for him and isn't working now.
When Poch's philosophy was bravery, pressure and speed, we dominated the league.
