If Bale and the mystery midfielder are both on loan where does that leave us with Gedson who's also on loan, how many can we have on loan?

Pretty sure that only applies to loans from English clubs, and we can have as many loans from abroad as we like

Lemar has also scored a couple of goals when we played Monaco in the CL. Atlético don’t want him, but he’s a winger so that wouldn’t make any sense.

That was our "Liverpool" moment where they signed what they needed and pushed on massively. Levy must know this (and even if Donna's in his ear and not sure what a "home advantage" is, I'm sure she's seeing the $$$-signs too).

We're never going to get a shot again at a player of Bale's quality/fame on the kind of deal being offered. That's why I really think it'll happen and why Levy might finally pull the trigger.

If we sign Bale, Coutinho and Edouard I expect us to line up with Bale, Son, Kane, Edouard, Lucas, Lamela, Bergwijn, Dele, Gedson, Coutinho and Lo Celso. All starting. Goalie rush.
