Serious question because it pisses me off to no end and is right up there with snooty and petty pressers.
Why does he never start Lucas Moura.
As in ever.
Fuckwit.

This rant is NOT over. I can assure you of that.
Yeah, he is not a fan of Moura's I believe. Which is a shame. I don't think we've really seen what Moura is truly capable of, as he's never been given a steady run in the first XI. He always plays in fits and starts. And also isn't utilized in his preferred position as a right sided AM or a right sided attacker in a 433.

Imagine for a moment someone like Southgate was managing Spurs. He's noticed how well harry plays in a 433. And sees that we absolutely have the players to implement that formation.

That's when you'd probably see quite a lot of Moura...
EG:

--------------gazza------------
Foyth --- Toby --- Jan ----- Sess
--Lo Celso --- Winks - Tanguy
--- Moura --- Kane -- Son

My guess is that we'd see the best of Moura in that formation.

That said, we're not likely to see it under Poch. For better or worse.

Also when El Tel decided to eat his crisps rather than sign A young Beckham up to a youth contract.

I believe it was actually a packet of nuts he was munching old chap.

And he dropped one on the floor and was looking for it whilst Beckham was in the office...

First 30 mins today is the most like spurs of old we’ve looked in over a year :) surprise surprise back to 4-2-3-1 and not starting any players who want to leave(erisken, Toby, rose) apart from aurier who was indifferent anyway.

Look what happens when you play a back to basics formation and play more of the players that want to be here. This is the team that should have played on Saturday.

Here's your template Poch.

This. We're still suspect defensively, but we're so low on confidence and without a goalie that gives us confidence so that's to be expected.

If I see Rose, Eriksen and the Winks/Sissoko double pivot anywhere near the team on Sunday I'm going to freak out.

Yeah still work to be done, but as long as Poch goes back to basics I'll support him. The players look so much more comfortable out there in this setup.

Ndombele is class and is only going to get better. Has to play. Winks isn't done yet but we need to build around Tanguy.

Kane looks much happier as a lone striker, plenty of movement around him. Clear instructions, round pegs in round holes.

I've missed the Munich, Southampton and Watford matches due to work and haven't been able or wanted to rewatch them.

The reports stated we were ponderous and that has been our achilles heel for a while now, but I'd love nothing more than for Poch to turn this around.

Whether he is capable is another matter, but tonight felt good. A bit of positivity back!

Got pretty much everything right today, selection, formation. Just don’t go back to the old stuff

The first half hour vrs Bayern was like this game
But Poch has to protect the defensive side of mid
Cover that and let Ndom do his stuff,Kane will win the Balon d'or

It was a dam near perfect old school Poch performance, right down to not bringing on the player I want on until the 80th minute.

As others have said, back to a set up that worked in the past, taking out the want away players...and all of a sudden we've a team that knows what they're doing and putting in the effort.

Off the ball movement was back, and it's been absent for so long.

Opposition were awful but this is a step forward.

Now will he pick the same side against Liverpool?

I certainly hope so.

Hate to be the one that says it, but it's been one match, and yes I get that we looked fluid, but this was against a team that was really poor. We have a right to be optimistic, but we should be cautious too. It wasn't that long ago we were saying how good we looked against Palace and look what happened after.
