Usually when players are getting out the same way constantly, it highlights a problem in their game. Roy is constantly getting castled by deliveries at a good length. Sky highlighted the fact he’s reaching for the ball when he should be allowing the ball onto the bat as well.

Personally I think he needs to put a lid on test cricket otherwise it’ll start to affect his form in white ball cricket, which we don’t want as he’s (imo) the best opener in the world in that form.

I’d love to hear the reasoning behind Overton playing ahead of Curran. It’s left our batting line up, which is already so weak, that much shorter.

Because they thought Overton is a better bowler in these conditions.
Curran’s bowling needs improvement for him to get in this side as a 3rd bowling option and he is not getting in as a 4th bowling option as an all rounder in front off stokes

I’d say Overton taking 2-107 over two innings doesn’t justify the reasoning. Obviously it’s easy to say that in hindsight but our bowlers are not the issue in this side, it’s the batters and just by removing Woakes for Overton (who I know is technically an all rounder but nowhere close to Woakes with the bat) you’re doing the batting line up a huge disservice.

Massively unfair this ball changing business. So what if it doesn’t fit through the ring?
Should change the rule one ball until 80 overs no matter what shape/condition the ball is in

You should not be picking your 3rd seamer because of his batting abilities, better bowler every time for me, you need to take 20 wickets to win a match.we need better batters in the top 7
Would Curran have done any better?
You are basing your opinion of Curran the batsman and not Curran the bowler imo.
You have to remember we have a lot of injuries in the bowling department wood, Anderson, the other guy who played vs Ireland who name escapes me and for whatever the reason we are not picking woakes

Somebody tell me i’m not the only one who looks at Overton in his helmet and has to do a double take thinking they’re watching Harry Kane? Dead ringer

Buttler did ok to hang in there today but in surely that has to be it now for him in this team.. can’t have specialist batsman playing at number 7!

Keep hearing archer can bat seen no evidence of this in this series at all. He appears to be no better batter than a no 11.
