Argentina’s national team confirmed he’s injured his groin.

He hasn’t started a game for us, no pre season and getting used to new training methods.

Why are Argentina starting him?! And why are we letting him go? Would have been so much better staying and working on his fitness for 2 weeks.

PL Top 5 is:
Wan Bissaka (Man U) 26
Pereira (Leicester) 20
Pieters (Burnley) 18
McGinn (Villa) 17
Montoya (Brighton) 15

I think it helps if your team do not have much of the ball in games. That said, Wan Bissaka is a search and destroy FB for sure!

Man C and Liverpool have very similar numbers to us, except their best tacklers are 12/13.

Much more important for him to get used to life in London and working on fitness/team tactics than pointless shitty friendlies.

That was in 24th minute and he played on till 53rd. Plus the official site says a groin injury.

Aston Villa and Newcastle had the ball for a combined total of about 4 minutes and we couldn't get close enough to any Man City players to tackle them.

Reassuring quotes from the player, but I'm not totally ruling it out as a problem yet. Weird the groin is being mentioned by Argentina when the main issue seemed to be the stamp on the ankle.

He shouldnt have played. For the long term for club and country 2 weeks training with us would have been ideal. National magers are so short sighted
