Has Micky confirmed?
I think he is alluding to the fact that Micky Hazard wrongly gets lumped into the Spurs Legends category.

Has Micky confirmed?
He's not the only one but at least he flies the flag on social media and hasn't to my knowledge slagged the club off like one former captain legend. To be honest I was just wondering if he'd gone public but obviously not.I think he is alluding to the fact that Micky Hazard wrongly gets lumped into the Spurs Legends category.

The 'test events' I'm sure are just a legality and the club will be 99.9% sure that they will be passed. Probably all the actual signing off in theory has been done and it would only fail if some massive cock up transpired. We would be screwed if for some reason the event actually failed, so I'm sure everything that was possible to ensure this didn't happen has happened.
Wrong thread for it so I'll leave it at that as I've discussed it before elsewhere, sorry.Which club legend has slagged the club off? And why?
I don’t know what one has to do to be a “legend”, but he was a bloody good player, who this squad could really do with now, given our lack of creativity and any passing with tempo. And he clearly loves the club, so I don’t really get the sniping.I think he is alluding to the fact that Micky Hazard wrongly gets lumped into the Spurs Legends category.

Before I think they announced the Liverpool game before any tests were done, however like you say we don’t really know when or what game it will be until the fa cup round is doneA question: are they going to wait until both test events are completed before announcing the opening game, or will they announce the test events with a view to a certain fixture being the opening game? As in, say Millwall beat Brighton, would they thenannounce something like:
Test events on 23rd and 30th with a view to opening v Brighton on the 6th?

You would think they will have to announce the games as being at the new stadium to give enough notice. If the 2nd test event is 30th you can't really leave the Brighton game up in the air until after that date. Maybe announce the game for the new stadium subject to change. Although we didn't even get to the test events last time because they didn't pass the safety tests that have now apparently passed. So I guess we are passing all these necessary tests before announcing the test events this time to be sure.A question: are they going to wait until both test events are completed before announcing the opening game, or will they announce the test events with a view to a certain fixture being the opening game? I wrote that it would be right that people being relocated/sacked should be the first to know about the move. (The staff should also at least get the London Living Wage for that matter.) I'm not knocking them and it seems clear that the message they got was Wembley was done now. I don't dispute that. You need to let go of the idea that the stewards are minimum wage studenty types just there for a few extra quid. Some are. Some have been there for years, cover away fixtures both domestic and abroad. My contact there got me chance to meet the legends that appear in my avatar at the Finale. We had decades worth at that game and as they were all leaving so many stopped to talk to the ‘lowly staff’. Martin Jol spoke highly of them as being part of the Tottenham family, players and managers come and go but there’s a constant bunch of guys who go unnoticed yet are always there. It’s only when you know a few of them you realise how much they are part of it. Who did Spurs first officially open the turnstiles to last year?
I’ve heard this directly from a friend who is well placed (I’ve had first hand evidence of this as mentioned) on this occasion yet I’m skeptical. Not that I doubt him, only because there is still plenty to finalise. We should proceed with caution but as it stands at the moment I do now believe we’re finalising the move home for the next home fixture. Until that is finialised I don’t expect the club to say anything official as they’ve had their fingers burnt in that respect already.I wrote that it would be right that people being relocated/sacked should be the first to know about the move. You too are absolutely convinced and will also have heard things throughout the build no doubt to convince you that this time we really are returning. I welcome the news and thanks for your insights as always.
However, the club will be fully aware of this bubble of excitement, but for some reason do not want to comment.
We know the FA leaks like a sieve, and again, we have no news. Strange eh?
So for me, without direct contacts, can't you see that my opinion, backed up as I always try to, is perfectly valid. We have no test dates, fixtures to be rearranged and so I think there is still some real doubt if the Wembley experience is really over.
To the usual spammers, why be cautious? Because if by chance the FA force another Wembley fixture on us, I suspect this rumour will ensure we have the lowest Wembley attendance ever. And the disappointment will affect the team's performance.
I wonder what capacity the legends game will be. Not sure if they could fill the stadium but if they could get a high enough capacity it would prepare us to open the game in the Champions League if it comes to it.
Surely Keane will play in that one as well.

I bet if they announced the test events on a very short notice, like less than a week, y’all will still flock there!
