One of the itk post from a few weeks back suggested that we wanted a attacking player, a cb and 2 cm and that we might have to be creative budget wise with the cms.
Are we buying grealish as a cheaper option in midfield so we can spend more on the other midfielder?

25 mil for this deal... Everyone still thrilled? That would have been our second most expensive signing last year. If you don't think that is a significant portion of the budget I'm not sure what to say to you.

Fair price. Considering today's inflated market. I think he will do well enough if he comes, but he's not my first choice.

Thats horrible value in today's market. Keep in mind we got international level players for less than that last year. This is exactly what happens when a bigger club in England goes shopping in England. It was fine to buy these projects like Dele when they were costing 5 and 10 mil but this is a whole other ordeal.

You do know we currently don’t have any more non-HG spots left for champions league don’t you?

So promote a youngster to be our 6th AM option, do you really want Grealish to be playing significant time in CL anyways?

Which of our youngsters are able to perform as adequate backup to Eriksen? Also which of our youngsters would you want getting significant time in the CL?

He's one of the brightest home-grown AM talents atm. If he would have been French or Brazilian playing exactly like he is, going for that money I would have said no.

Something quite likeable about how much he seems to love Villa / how Loyal he is. Reckon that type of heart is the type of Player poch loves working with where there is some genuine passion beyond just what he is collecting each week or box ticking some trophies on CV by being part of the most expensively assembled squad

I don't want any of them to, thats my point. Thats what I've stated this whole time as you've been following along. We have three players who can play #10 right now in Eriksen, Lamela and Dele. Its a waste of a significant sum of money.

Well Poch disagrees. You've never even seen this guy play.

Exactly who are Englands other bright AM talents outside of Dele? Sterling is a winger, Rashford is a forward. Will Hughes? James Maddison? RLC, I'll give you. There aren't a plethora of creative passing talents in England.
