One last opinion from Dortmund supporters:

Okieant33Marco Reus 2 points 7 minutes ago

This is my worst nightmare. I watch every Tottenham match and have since New Year's 2014. You could say I support them along with Dortmund (please don't kill me). Mostly because of Christian Eriksen and the fact that I hate United, City, Arsenal, and Chelski.

Anyways, I'll say this: Tottenham have not seen an offense like ours. And I don't believe we've seen a defense like theirs. We've seen Bayern and Neuer. But Tottenham swarm to the ball for possession. But they also build in an...unorthodox fashion. They really don't have a real plan in moving the ball forward and really just try to find space. We'll have to basically counter them with the way we move the ball. They make silly possession mistakes sometimes with their midfielders like Son and Chadli. Dele Alli missing a match is going to help us.

I think the key players are going to be Eric Dier and Erik Lamela for Tottenham and for us it will be Gundogan and Auba for us. Toby Alderwiereld is a fucking wall. He's better than Papa. Pains me to say that. If Auba can out speed him, we'll have a chance on the counter from passes from Illy because Kevin Wimmer is no Jan Vertonghen. I'm actually not concerned with them scoring on us if Dele Alli is playing. I think Hummels will have his hands full with Harry Kane but Harry isn't Auba.

Typical hipster fans. If you aren't german, why do you support them? I guarantee you that this poster only started supporting them a couple of seasons ago.

I love international fans personally.

I had no choice in supporting Spurs. I was born in Chingford and my Dad is a Spurs fan.

An international fan however looked at all of the teams in the world, and for some strange reason thought to himself "I like that Tottingham Hotspurs". When you think about it, that is the opposite of glory hunting. In actual fact, choosing to support Spurs is crazy. It's a special type of crazy that I love. In fact, it is just the type of crazy that I think would fit right in with our support :)

I do agree with you, but its when a team finds success and people latch onto them...thats when it annoys me

So true. You've got to be nuts to want to support Spurs out of choice

Some from http://forum.bvbpower.de/index.php/Thread/1890-Auslosungen-zur-Euro-League-15-16/?pageNo=15

lightweight opponents no longer exists except liverpool who am not so sure

Tottenham is ne number. Will really difficult.

United against Liverpool is also nice. Tottenham is attractive in any case. If hard because the team is there also a good mood and Eriksen is really dangerous on a good day. But we are already packing

Luck of the draw is different, but seis drum, whether immediately or later regardless. The Spurs are ne hard nut.

Damn hard nut, and again only home game! What a bummer! So what! Et kütt wie et kütt.

Even more dangerous - striker Harry Kane! get him and Eriksen in the handle, and then it should work ........ Dortmund Tottenham would have been the final pairing of the logical ago.

We have the same respect for BVB.... Very good squad and the winner will go into the final leg of this competition with high spirits.

We fear no one and Poch will show our intent. The fans must get behind the team and we have the same chance like BVB.... This game has classic written all over it.

This is from a Dortmund fan site...

"I would like us to draw Spurs or United. A dream come true if we eliminate one of the rich boys and later watch them lick their wounds, while splashing out yet another monstrous 150 mil. for mediocre players."

After the draw he said...

"My wish came true. We are facing Spurs. About time we made a sugar daddy club cry again."

Now I don't often get pissed off by opposition fan comments but this has fucked me off to the point of wanting to embarrass myself and sign up to their shitty fan page and put them straight that we are not a "sugar daddy" club in fact we are quite the opposite. Maybe @Mullers would be best to put them straight on Mr Levy's spending :D. Does this fuck anyone else off to be put in the same bracket as United, City, Liverpool etc?

I love how he says the first bold bit like it's a weakness and says he's not worried about us 'scoring on' them. As if unpredictability on the ball is a bad thing. Our lack of a plan going forward doesn't seem to have done us much harm considering we've got the second most goals in the premiership behind Leicester and City.

Without looking up fees, I'd guess our starting XIs probably cost similar amounts - they've spent a fair bit of cash on Mikhitaryan, Aubameyang, Gündogan and Reus.

I never thought that I would become a football fan before I started following Spurs so I definitely know what you're talking about. :D

Thank you for that. I only started in 2003 when my brother was dating a girl from North London. It has been a long and interesting ride over the years. Still slightly stunned over the season so far. I couldn't be happier for you guys who get to experience it up close. COYS!
