Hulk could be considered a huge transfer (regardless of his name and physical size) because of his reputation and cost but I don't think that would be a shocking one.

Names I could think of that would be "shocking" and "huge" but might also make some semblance of sense would be Rooney, Falcao, or Bale staying here. Realistically none of those make any sense however. Couldn't be Suarez, right? One of the big Madrid players (Benzema, Ozil) coming our way?? Perhaps Nani or El Shaarawy as a left wing option would be a pretty surprising signing. Interested to see if this turns out to be true.

Huge suggests a well konw star rather than vadillo, griezmann, rodrigo etc.

I just want Coentrao!

Many seem to think that Baines is a very long shot. I'm not so sure.

Spurs it would seem have more money to spend and Everton would need a replacement for Baines if he was to move. So how about cash and Rose for Baines. On top of that Spurs have a range of quality players that may not be getting the playing time that they'd want to have in view of the recent incomings. Defoe and Siggy come to mind. Everton might jump at the chance to add any of these to their squad.

We have the elements on hand to make a deal.

The question now is whether or not we want the player...

Would prefer another right footed player. Hulk is left footed, I think we have enough of those now.

Is Greg Stobart a qualified tweeter in here?? Tweeted that we are still looking to spend £30m on 'the right' player! Doesn't think Chavs will sell Mata to us though(which we all gathered anyway).:jimlad:
IMHO they are more likely to do deal for Mata with the woolwich wanderers than us

So huge name, hopefully deal over the line by Monday night. Deadline day special after beating the Goons would make the perfect end to this magnificent window.

If it's huge and a 'blow your mind player'. Jesus, after this window? Dare we utter the names of players in the ilk of Mata, Ozil?
