It should really be the big 3, since both city and Chelsea are guilty of financial doping and have done nothing to earn their right to be among the elite, other than being fortunate enough to be bought out by a couple of billionaires!
I resent city so much I think I would get as much pleasure from denying them a top 4 slot as I would the goons.......well, nearly as much pleasure

We are more or less owned by a billionaire (Joe Lewis), as are United (Glazers) and Arsenal have a billionaire invester. In fact you probably cannot compete at the top of the Premier League without a billionaire backer of some sort.
The point is we spend what we generate through the clubs business activities and no more.
A majority of the posts recently suggest that quite a lot of our "fans" aren't as educated in this department as others, and they would have us chuck away the years and years of hard work it's taken to set Tottenham Hotspur up with this business model by over spending on... well, anything that they think will get us instant glory.
Wish more fans could appreciate the position Levy and his tribe have put us in, with regards to stability, both on and off the pitch.
I suppose a lot of the problem with the latest generation of supporters is that they have only the experiences of it being done by clubs like Chelsea & Citeh, rather than any idea of what kind of work it took for many teams to transit from a sports club into businesses.
Once upon a time, football was a game.
Disagree mate. I don't think people saying we need to spend 100k+ on wages believe we can do this currently, more that we will need to eventually to have sustained success. this will only come with increasing our revenue.
