In these tough times i'd like to say thank you to every one of you for making yourselves heard on our CL debut home and away, i'm extremely jealous yet extremely proud hearing you guys and dolls getting behind our team a team that had the audacity to achieve so much in Europe this season.

I'll be applauding you and the team when you do it all again next season, which I believe we will, with all of you at the games and us that have to make do via TV or radio behind them, there's no reason it can't happen.

It's not cheating with a twelfth man as long as both teams know you're there.

Thanks

Nice post and thank you very much.... however this is why I was so frustrated last night when the players just walked of the pitch (excluding Bale) most people stayed behind to clap the team off and were true supporters to the end... I think it was a chance missed by the player to thank the fans.

I miss going to games but am extremely proud of the supporters who do go.

I've said it before but it bears repeating that the noise you lot make is equal to us having a twelfth man on the pitch. It must make a difference to the players to hear that kind of support.

We really need these points now as we near the end of the season so keep it up guys and girls.

Yep Bale, Dawson, Huddlestone and Gomes are usually very good at acknowledging fans. Especially Bale.

I have had so many people tell me that our fans are the loudest in the league. My gooner mate even said that it is the one thing he is envious of.

That is why I travel with my football family, the results on the pitch are always second for me, second to the bond we have as Spurs fans!

I hope he meant tough times due to the recession.... if not he should have tried having a season ticket during the mid to late 90's - Gross, Francis days... now they were tough times :)
