If Traore falls through?
TOTTENHAM INTERESTED IN AOUAR
Tottenham are interested in signing Lyon attacking midfielder Houssem Aouar.
Sky Sports News has learnt informal talks have been held with Aouar’s representatives.
Aouar has two years left on his Lyon contract and wants to weigh up all his options before deciding on his future.
Aouar’s preference is to play Champions League football and he is aware he may have more options this time next summer.
Nope we want both

The Traore stuff is very real he wants to come , nuno wants to partner him with son and Kane badly , par also supports
we are talking with wolves
the 3 deals I have confidence in are this , sarr with him going back on loan and tomasu , we rate tomasu very highly we think he has a high ceiling so I believe it will get done
I’d suggest any more than this depends on us shifting the Tanguy / aurrier / sissoko
Other fish to fry first but we want him this window
We have had the deal in place for aouar since 30th of June which Is when I informed the gods of sc. It’s on the don
Trying to sort the structure on the deal which is the hold up with this one player wants to come . Wolves and mendes have his replacement already lined up.
Spurs are confident
Nothing exciting but:
JJ - “there are few deals still to go through hopefully”

Medical completed and now paperworks to be signed for Pape Sarr to Tottenham, here we go confirmed. Done deal for €15m guaranteed plus potential “huge” add ons amount in the future. #THFC Sarr will stay on loan at Metz until June 2022, confirmed. #Spurs
Moriba is true and real. Let’s see if we can get it over the finishing line. Not a cheap deal by any stretch at all.
Moriba talk is real. Reading some of the latest Leipzig stuff on his thread, I inquired and was told, which I suspected anyway, his agents (greedy fckrs) are the ones driving this, and his father. I back track on something I said yesterday. It is this; at 18 year old s package of 40m inclusive fee, fees, and fees, before wages. f-off!!!
Sarr hold up is nothing to do with personal terms! All agreed. More to do with legal and government stuff…

Sarr
Tottenham are in the final stages of tying up a deal for 18-year-old Metz midfielder Pape Matar Sarr, with the medical expected to take place in France once personal terms are finalised.
The teenager will remain with the French club for the coming season in order to develop there.
It was a deal that Paratici and Tottenham felt they had to grab with both hands, including the loan, in order to secure one of Europe's brightest young prospects ahead of a number of other top clubs. Those inside the club have compared it to the move for Dele Alli back in 2015.
Moriba
The same scenario is the case for Ilaix Moriba, Barcelona's 18-year-old midfield sensation, with Tottenham feeling it's just too good an opportunity to turn down as they look to try to secure one of the game's top young players.
For Tottenham, Moriba would be a player for the now, albeit competing in a busy midfield, even with the departure of Sissoko.
The move for Moriba is still at a delicate stage, with plenty of big clubs across Europe, including Chelsea, looking at what would be a bargain buy of less than £20m for one of Europe's top young players.
Traore/ Striker
Espirito Santo and Paratici's desire to bring in Adama Traore from Wolves is currently proving to be more difficult by the day as the Midlands club look to keep the winger.
football.london understands that Traore's arrival would have been rather than signing another striker, with Son Heung-min pushing up to be more of a regular front man alongside Kane.
If Traore is deemed off the table then that could see Spurs return to looking at strikers, although moves for Dusan Vlahovic and Lautaro Martinez have thus far run aground.
Tomiyasu
If Aurier does depart then Tottenham will attempt to sign a right-back, with Takehiro Tomiyasu, with his ability to play on the right and in the centre of a defence, a long-term summer target.
Ndombele/ CAM
The same goes for a creative attacking midfielder if Tanguy Ndombele were to get his wish to move fulfilled this summer, although the chances of someone matching Spurs' valuation of their £60m club record signing remain slim at this point.
Centre Back:
Tottenham did also want to sign another new centre-back as well as Romero, however the current numbers in the position make that difficult. Even Cameron Carter-Vickers, who was expected to leave this summer, may have had his chances of a move scuppered by his ankle injury last week.
