General question about the rugby rules. Did they change the put in at scrums? Used to have to put the ball in straight. It's got gradually less straight.... now it's straight into the front row of the team with the put in.

Not sure there was a change in the laws but its certainly never enforced now.

They weren't left with much choice. They had to play a strategic game.
I'm still not sure what Borthwick is trying to achieve with this team. Some silly kicks through the centre and giving the ball away.
I'd ban kicking on field as manager unless it was to relive pressure in your own 22. Does nothing but give the opposition ball.
