Its sad because I think if he'd just won one trophy in these 5 years, the players might have have kept their belief...but I think with so many close chances, as the players have got that bit older, that belief is now gone.
Simply on Poch and the squad, we can’t play for them out there. They were the ones saying they ‘deserved’ something and now it looks like we’re going to go more years without winning a spoon

Saying that things will be addressed in the Jan and next summer window in September at the outset of the current season... Wow. Just let that admission sink in.

Love him but we are screwed atm.

He's a nearly man. What he has done to build the club has been amazing and he deserves all the praise he gets for it. But now the job is to win things. Something that he's proven he's not been able to do.

People ridicule the idea of Jose but forget what he's achieved in the game. Usually with tactical nouse and a clear plan. It might not always be the prettiest, but you think Colchester give a fuck this morning?

Levys got some massive decisions to make, not just getting rid of Poch, but what direction the club goes in if/when he goes.

Im not sure match going fans will be happy with a patsy when we're paying absolute top whack every other week, and I'm not sure our big hitters (the ones on long contracts) will want to stick around unless a big name comes in.

Time for Poch to do what he had to do early in his reign and ditch the adebayors, kabouls, capoues.

I think he has to do it.

Hypothetically what if this squads Adebayor was Vertonghen? When Poch dropped him which he clearly did at the start of the season this place was in melt down demanding he start the next game as we slowly leaked goals. Are our fans willing to back Poch with the big decisions he’s got to make?

Wow cannot believe this is gathering momentum!
He has over achieved consistently since he has been here with the resources made available to him - if we get rid before the end of the season It would be a terrible decision that will take years to recover from!
Our rivals are licking their lips at the thought of him leaving and adding fuel to the fire in the media.

It’s a difficult period for him, he needs our support more than ever and he deserves it.
He’s magic you know, he will turn this around if we back him.

Never thought I'd be saying this but I actually think he'll get sacked very soon, doesn't look like the players are playing for him anymore, sad.

It’s so sad, but it does seem like the players (or at least some of them) no longer want to play for him. The fight has gone and cracks in the squad have got worse. Big players are about to leave.

Not sure he’ll get the sack though. But the end of this era is now very much coming. We’ve been awful for the calendar year, and pretty bad for longer - results have come through individuals rather than the team. There’s some (but not a lot of) comfort in that.

I can’t see Levy sacking him any time soon though. Not with everything that has been achieved vs previous regimes.

If someone like Klopp was in the background saying ‘come and get me’, then maybe, but who of any calibre is available and would take leave their current club?

There's one standout, who Levy is apparently chums with. Unattached and will be hungry to prove his race isn't run. A proven winner and clearly believes we have the squad to challenge.

Only thing I'm certain of is this squad is great. As far as I'm concerned it's man City, pool and us, with the next best squad far behind.

Poch has managed to get us playing much better, winning football with a much worse squad so Im not hearing the problems are anything other than his own.

Genuinely hope he sorts it out but after 6-8 months I'm not hopeful and might be best for both parties to part ways.

One thing I'm certain of is that outside the absolute elite clubs, we could have our pick of managers. Any manager would love to have the squad Poch has got with the stadium and training ground. I'm not concerned about getting a quality replacement.

If he's lost the players it only ends one way I'm afraid. I know he has credit in the bank but for me the issue is that there is a negative feeling round the club at the moment and things are not being helped by his comments and demeanour.

I'm normally a compete optimist but I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel.

IF we get Jose in we should keep him on short-term contracts in case it all comes tumbling down. I think he’d be an amazing short term appointment but not the answer long term. Gives him the flexibility to wait for an international job and us to decide long term.
