KWP - Sanchez - Jan - Davies

Winks - Ndombele

Son - Eriksen - Moura

Kane

Like this

Except.. Lamela should absolutely not be dropped!
He plays, Eriksen sits.

(Hasn’t Poch been talking about deserving a place)

@Van of Farts how is this spam? Isn’t this a thread to discuss our team vs Newcastle next weekend?

We have to start thinking about rotation and sissoko has been pretty horrific so hopefully we see skipp or dier (if he's still alive). Jan, Davies and lo celso should feature as well, the latter off the bench.

If we are going to sell Eriksen we have to drop him from the squad, we can't keep playing him if he's off in less than two weeks.

For me:

Lloris
Davies
Kwp
Jan
Sánchez
Skipp
Winks
Ndombele
Son
Lucas
Kane

Lo celso and dier should get some minutes as well.

I know it's unpopular opinion, but I really don't wanna see Winks start this one.

It's no coincidence that we've improved in both our games so far, when he's been subbed off. It might as well be a case of his teammates not using him correctly, but IMO he's been underwhelming so far, only passing short sideways or backwards. I don't think he makes us tick, and would like to se a CM2 of Ndombele and Sissoko against Newcastle. Lo Celso to come in, if Poch insists on a midfield 3.

I'd rather have Alderweireld.

Sanchez has a history of doing dumb shit against big strong strikers like Joelinton. Would prefer to see the calm composed vets back there.

Joelinton is about the same size as Sanchez 1.86and 81Kg against Wesley he was giving up approx 10KG in weight. Sanchez isn't really that big he needs to understand he can't go have tussles with men bigger than him

It's no coincidence because it led to a change in shape from a shit one where we always look poor, to one with an extra attacker where we look better. The formation was the issue, not Winks, if either of Sissoko or Ndombele had made way the same would've happened.

This is the team we should start. Lamela can operate off the right and switch with Eriksen when required. Son comes back in, obvs.

As much as I love Winks, would love to see Lo Celso and NDombele together. GLC has the defensive capabilities to flourish in the double pivot alongside TND. In theory it's the perfect CM2 combo.

Sadly I don't see it happening and think it'll be this lineup with Winks instead of GLC.

Newcastle were TRASH vs Norwich so we'll be lucky if they're as bad again. Either way we should certainly be beating them comfortably.

If we bench Eriksen, it'll just be like the Villa game all over again.
Not surprised you said that. I alway thought you were one of those that had the misconception that the Villa game was changed because of Eriksen.

Lamela has to play. Would like to see Lo Celso but don't think he'll start. Son needs a runout. We should thump them. If they try and defend they won't do it well enough and it'll play into our hands, so they need to keep players up top. It won't work. This game could get messy.

I think Poch will rotate fullbacks and therefore:

Lloris
Aurier - Toby - Jan - Davies
Sissoko - Ndombele
Lucas - Eriksen - Son
Kane

Poch loves player to play against their ex club, though.

Would be very surprised if he doesn’t start.

Reckon he'll probably want to play Winks to keep the ball moving, between him and Ndombele I think it's enough

Sissoko will probably start against Arsenal, he'll run through their midfield.
