The thing is unlike other coaches, Ange doesn’t really plan for the opponents, he just focuses on our style of play regardless. So where as a Conte / Mourinho would have probably used the 2 weeks looking how to stop the scum we will just go out and try do what we do. Whether that is the right approach remains to be seen.

Yeah I know that, but the fact its a derby surely comes into our pyschological approach to the game.

I mean do what we do, but Ill be bitterly disappiointed if we dont see more intensity from the team, because without it we'll most likely lose.

I remember we feared the worst going into the game away to City and that turned out ok

Keown making a complete arse of himself on Talksport this morning. Pressure must be getting to him.
Apparently Brighton rolled over for City last night. But Chelsea didnt against Arsenal.

Could do with Maddison and Biss finding their early season form. Also be great if Richy can start and if Porro can start.

COYS.

Excited to be going to this one.

The crazy thing is how much more confident I'd be if Bissouma had early season form. I really often feel like if Bissouma was to play well then the rest of the team would flourish.

Think he plays Royal at LB to deal with Saka cutting inside.
Royal seriously lacking in game time and match sharpness though.

Big ask expecting him to come in (stone cold) and deal with Arsenals most tricky, agile, in-form attacker.

Get stuck into him early and he'll limp all game.

Who's got more of a ricket in them? Royal or Davies?

Either player, when up against Saka is a clear miss-match, but Royal just screams penalty waiting to happen.

nah it just means you actually 'get it'.
Honestly, i don't actually believe people think like that, i'm sure it is all a ruse to show they are mature and above football tribalism :cautious:

Fuck the nomads in the neck, all the time, everytime.

All wanting Arsenal to fail above Spurs succeeding does is show you're small time. Basically, like a West Ham fan.

I don't think there is a set of fans in the world who would rather their rivals win a league title over them coming 4th in the league.

football is all about rivalries.

i think your outlook on it is in the minority.

I bet my outlook is the same as the players and Ange's.

I bet they wouldn't give up champions league nights at the lane next season for the sake of worrying about what arsenal do.

I just want to be in a position where we beat them and then deliberately throw the game v city. Like make it blatant and play Gill and Skipp
It's us Vs City so Gil would score a hat trick and Skipp will play like prime Davids
