Todd's Saudi mates also spent a fortune on their deadwood. It shows how bad we've been at selling players.
Chelsea seemed to have a conveyor belt of youngsters they sold every season.

This is mainly due to Chelsea and City having an excellent academy. If there was one area of the club that needs to improve its this.It shows how bad we've been at selling players.

We can improve but Chelsea's selling has only been good mainly because they did some dodgy deals with their saudi investors to get rid of their deadwood.
Just joking. Yes he’s very good. Pity he wants us to pay now. That was according to the UEFA calculation methods.
As for him being a Gooner... nobody's perfect, but I have never seen him skew an analysis of any club's finances in order to put the Woolwich outfit in a better light...
If the uefa ffp eventually goes to 70% , on those calculations quite a few clubs are going to struggle. We are about the best run club and we are on 60%.Swiss Ramble correctly identifies it at 46%?
Are you referring to the squad cost ratio of 60% for UEFA rules? If so, then that includes player amortisation and impairment costs as well as wages.

Well we owe a lot of money but we have a crown jewel of a money earning stadium and Ange has no intention of buying any £100 million footballers to dent the bank balance, so everything is looking good. So… I’m dyslexic and math is kryptonite to me. So, uh… are we in a good, neutral, or bad financial position according to all that?

No he's saying Ange doesnt want £100 million players. Not that we cant afford one.So we are good financially as long as we don't spend huge amounts on players? So much for the stadium being a game changer.
Just don't think the Ange will be looking at £100 million rated players , all Ange's signings so far are at the lower end of the cost and age scale apart from Vic 27 (bargain), Maddison 27 (bargain) and Timo 28 who was essential to fill in while Sonny was away.So we are good financially as long as we don't spend huge amounts on players? Daniel Levy, Chairman: “Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play. He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy - everything that is important to our Club. We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead."

That's again not what he is saying. It's about quality not financial cost and the two don't always equate as we all should be very aware of by now. Ange clearly understands this and it's why he keeps saying he doesn't care about the financials the CL bring in. It's not going to define his team.Maybe that is part of the reason he was brought in, he is happy to work with players who don't cost as much.
You really are trying hard to twist this into something it's not.So we could afford to buy £100 million players if we wanted to and the reason we don't is because Ange doesn't want to?
Yes , we could easily take Antony of Manure's hands for 95 million euros, sure they would like their money back that they paid Ajax but I am not sure if Ange would want himSo we could afford to buy £100 million players if we wanted to and the reason we don't is because Ange doesn't want to?
