Apart from Ruud van Nistelrooij, I can't think of any specialist strikers/centre forwards from the Dutch league who've been successful in the PL. I'd be a bit wary.

Although he was undoubtedly a superb player, he played in a variety of positions where he was either scoring or creating goals, so he wasn't an out-and-out goalscorer. I should have remembered Hasselbaink, Van Persie and Suarez. Maybe I was trying to forget them because they played for such obnoxious clubs, so I hope others will forgive my memory lapse.Bergkamp
He also came to the Prem from Inter, who knocked out the mighty Norwich City in the UEFA Cup or Cup Winners Cup (can’t remember which), so he’d played a while in what was - at the time - the best league in world football.
