More so then ever and regardless if I agree or not, I don’t see how he fits what Conte is looking for in a WF. Seems we want a fast dribbler in that role.

I dont see him as a WF and more a CAM that can operate wide if needed. I'm personally more interested in us adding a player in creative, central role even if Conte and Paratici don't agree

Shame about this guy but let’s be honest it was his YouTube clips that got most of us excited. He’d have probably turned out to be average for us and would have definitely lost his ability to take free kicks so I can see why we didn’t pull the trigger.

Agree he would have been a Dempsey or Sigurdsson. Players who can strike a ball well and can play a pas but not creative play makers per se.

Well hes on a free next year then. Could be an option for us.
Next summer, zaha is free too, zaniolo has a year left, bastoni has a year left, skriniar is free, maddison has a year left.
could be some bargains around. Hopefully if we could get some frees and cheap players we could really add to our squad.
Hopefully (although I doubt it) conte when he gets the AM and LCB he wants, he might look to a creative mid to allow us tactical flex.
