I'm sure you know best. Skipp and Hojbjerg are not mobile enough generally, so I'm glad Hojbjerg did ok. But the reality is that both Skipp and Hojbjerg make terrible errors and gift the ball to the oppo in dangerous positions. I would have gone with those three.
I mean Kulu was one of the worst players on the pitch last night

That bit of time chasing shadows will help him no end, should probably start against Brentford and come off when he's gassed out.

I think so.

Twenty minutes last night was good for fitness building.

Get an hour out of him against Brentford - a game which we'll control.

I'm not expecting miracles at Brentford.

Second game back is usually the hardest physically

Understandable that he struggled to get involved, but there was a moment where he did a drop of a shoulder in the middle of the park to start an attack, and it's exactly that which we've missed for the last few months.

Glad to have him back, but I'd expect him on the bench against Brentford too.

Me seeing Bentancur and Madders linking up in midfield for the first time.

Hopefully GLC is back on the bench so we can start Maddison and bring Lo Celso on for him 2nd half

Lasted a lot longer than I expected. Still working his way back to match sharpness but had some nice moments

The funny thing is if Maupay hadn't done all that shit, we may well have struggled to get back in to it. That seemed to rally us.

But that shouldn't be the case. We should not need that as extra motivation, it's a game we have to win regardless.

It felt good to be able to pay back though, of course.
