Decided to spend a tenner and watch Barnet v Eastleigh. Not a great start by the Bees. They have so many new players as they lost most of them due to not getting promoted back to the football league. It's gonna be a long season for them. Anyone else follow a non league team?

Thinking about taking it on. When you say spent a tenner, you went to the ground yeah?

Many years ago I used to go to Underhill but I live abroad now, so save my trips for Spurs. The ground is still empty, I watched it online. Got spanked 5-1. Fucking awful!

I think I’d take it up if they let fans back in there first. Desperate to go to a game.

I think that it is only the National league that doesn't let fans in. I am pretty sure that lower leagues are letting fans in but that is probably just season ticket holders. The security manager at Spurs is a former colleague and he is a coach for Clapton CFC. They had fans at their last game. Check it out mate.

Yep. Below National League North and South fans are allowed back in, at reduced capacity (but still at higher levels than what clubs were getting last season anyway).
If weather wasn't as shit as it was today would have gone and watched an FA Cup match, and as they are having to cram fixtures in, will be playing every midweek also, so might catch a local game on Tues and Wed

I'll be keeping an eye on how King's Lynn get on in the National League, hoping they can be the next Harrogate. It's a bit of a trek for me to get over and watch them though.

Great win on Tuesday but got spanked at Notts County today. Peter Beadle has a big job ahead of him.

Have started following Kings Langley, great club run by great people. Within a week I'd taken on a voluntary role within the club leading on their community work.

I pretty regularly go and watch Dagenham & Redbridge. You're right on the very edge of the pitch, which I think's great. I do feel a bit sorry for the linesmen though as they get absolute dogs abuse throughout the match if they make dodgy decisions (which does happen relatively often, but it's expected at National League level).

Follow Maidstone Utd (helps that their main chant is similar to ours “Come on you Stones”)

Grew up around the club as the old man used to do the music & tannoy announcements, mum & sister were stewards and I was a ball-boy.

Sadly the club went into administration and kicked out of the league. Climbed our way back up to a semi decent level again but hit the glass ceiling of semi-pro vs pro.

Team were great when filled with city workers and bankers who played at the weekend and had one training session during the week. Went up to National League and tried to change to semi-pro but made far too many changes and lost the whole chemistry that worked so well.

Back into National League South and starting to play some decent stuff again

The Mighty Shrimpers are starting to climb away from the National League drop scene. The Shrimpers are unbeaten throughout January and under Director of Football Stan Collymore have made some astute signings from the leagues below. Fantastic support at Dover today with 1, 935 visiting fans, in a crowd of 2,600.
1,935 away fans

Going in the opposite direction, S****horpe are on the verge of dropping into the National League...

That's if the crooks in charge don't put the club into administration first.

The club has been in the Football League since 1950. And thanks to an asset stripping con man, they've gone from Championship to National League in 10 years.

I love football, but I hate the swindling ****s who've stolen it and ruined it, at every professional level.

My son in law is a York City season ticket holder. He travels up to each game from Essex.. I'm so pleased for him and the Minsternen.
I remember going to the old Bootham Terrace a few times as an away fan. Decent little club.

I have an old friend who lives there, he's started taking his lad to the new ground. By all accounts its a tidy little setup now. With them going up its a local'ish away day for S****horpe.
