The club put a whole plan on the website but I don’t believe they’ve actually put planning in yet. I’m not actually sure if they’ve even completed the purchase of Whitewebbs. But was no mention of a stadium, was a training facility. There’s a very mini stadium in this eco centre thing, which is right by the whitewebbs site. Maybe they got confused with that.

Scroll up the page a little...

Yeah, saw the small stands bit, but assumed they're for internal use, rather than public.

Also link is broken, so just assume I'm an idiot... this means no 15k stadium and this small stand thing is being misinterpreted?

Ah, yeah that's what I was assuming having read the full report on the site. I just wanted to double check here before I go to hard on calling this stadium thing out as BS

The small stadium is within current Hotspur way I think they’ve just started building it. I’ve seen or heard nothing about 15k stadium anywhere. And that’s not really something that would go under the radar that would be a major application.

Was just have a look through the plans for the eco centre/small stadium (2x 500 spectator stands ) which I believe the building has started on. it really does just look like something good the club are doing for the local community and will be a great learning centre for local kids. Not sure if the academy will use the pitch and stands and maybe give greater access to academy games.

Amazing how perfect that place is, there’s literally not a leaf out of place.
Can you imagine being there for “work”?

It depresses me to think I wasn’t good enough to make it pro and spend my days in a place like this.
I was happy hitting balls at an empty net when I was a kid, so I’d practically live at a training ground like ours and love every minute of it.

I think these might be the new pitches for the eco centre and these the early foundations for the new building but I might be wrong. It’s the right shape for what the building looked like in the plans.

That’s an outdoor amphitheater been built. The eco centre building is on hold, as they’ve built a temporary womens base at that side of the ground

Local elections May 5th first since 2018. Whitewebbs is a new ward and sounds like conservatives are firmly against the clubs plans for the golf course maybe that’s why no actual planning gone in yet. Interesting what a change in council might mean for high road west as well.

I don't forsee a change in council.

If the tories want anyone to blame for the golf course, it's chronic lack of funding from Middlesex golf. All the private courses totally ignoring that public courses are the entry level for eventual private club members. Just very short sighted.
