There have been many threads or discussions in the past related to our fans and the sometimes fickle nature of the crowds at games but especially the last few months I think the fans have been absolutely incredible and deserve a pat on the back as we form as much a part of the team as the players do.

The togetherness of the whole place at the moment is incredible and the belief that is within everyone within WHL, even when we go behind really helps the side and the fact so many of the players comment on this shows how true it is.

I very rarely get to WHL thesedays which absolutely kills me but especially this Saturday, every last one of you there, make that place rock, just the last season, just like the Inter Milan "Bale" game and get the win over those ***** that could be a defining moment in our history.

You're all fucking fantastic and I take my hat off to you all

Our fans are so fickle; my first home game of this season was the Sunderland match and you couldn't even get a song going in the South lower until we went 2-1 up, it was like a morgue and I was shocked to see how bad it has got as I tend to only do away games now.

The atmosphere yesterday sounded better from what I could tell and that's how it should be every game. If anyone wants to start claiming they're owed a performance from the players before they start supporting them then feel free to go and support that lot down the road. Without wanting to go completely off topic I do hope that with the new stadium there is help to attract a younger generation to matches because you look around the Lane these days and you generally see an aging population that are the only ones that can afford to go regularly.

Of course, the atmosphere will be great Saturday and that is the reason why it's even more pathetic when the whole of the stadium sits on its arse for 80 minutes against the so called worse teams.

I was south lower vs watford and yesterday. The atmosphere was positive throughout both games.

Try the north stand if you want to learn to appreciate the atmosphere in the south :ROFLMAO:

It's improving gradually!

I was in the Paxton for the Inter Milan game, I remember asking the guy next to me why he bothers coming as we were 3-1 up and he hadn't made a bit of noise all game!

The Fiorentina game was the first game this season I've felt proper positivity throughout the East Upper. It wasn't that long ago that the most you got out of the grumpy sods was a "tch" when Kane missed a sitter, despite us being 2 up!

One (nice) surprise yesterday, was losing at HT against a team we are expected to beat and couldn't discern any boos at Half-Time (y)

Every game from now until the end of the season (or the dream) is going to be as big or bigger than the last, and the crowd will have a massive role to play in what remains.

I sit in the North Stand, and although it's not as rowdy as the South, this seasons been pretty damn good.

I was in it for the Newcastle game to be fair.
But I had some pillock6 sat next to me taking about work for 90 minutes to his mate and not even looking at the pitch.

I actually noticed some people towards the top of the Paxton lower yesterday standing for a portion of the game. I almost fell over in shock!

I think at the moment there is an incredible nervousness in the stadium, until we take the lead. I feel slightly sick thinking about Saturday and its only Monday. I'm going to be a wreck walking to the ground on Saturday. We've got to try and get rid of the nervousness though as the players seem to pick up on it and can become nervous themselves!

It's the family stand, with loads of young kids sitting there.
If everyone there stood for the whole match, like they do in the South, there'd be a lot of kids who wouldn't see a thing.
