I’m staggered that either Liverpool or Manchester City didn’t bid for Toby in the summer, he’s certainly better than any of city’s CD’S and imagine him and Dick van dyke together, even if VVD gets injured they’d have a topCD to bring in. It just seemed strange to me!They always seem to get a dead easy group in the CL.
Meanwhile this article made me laugh. Like you said about Guardiola moaning about players being too expensive above, City always seem to plead poverty when they’ve been one of the biggest factors in price and wage inflation over the last decade.
Perhaps if they hadn’t spent sixty million on Mahrez to sit on their bench, then they’d have been able to squeeze a centre back into their FFP equations.
