I know , that’s what I said. Only that us and City do it well.Everyone does it. Think they're called modifiers in the trade. It's low-level tactical fouling, been around for donkeys.

True, it kind of misses the point.
I have always believed an intentional foul should be an automatic booking.
Teams have learnt a free kick on the halfway line is much better for the defending team than allowing a counter attack.
We do it well as do City.
I hope they lose on Sunday to a last minute VAR Josh King penalty.

Man City's Stones out for up to five weeks
Manchester City and England defender John Stones will be out for between four and five weeks after suffering a muscle injury in training.www.bbc.co.uk
Let’s hope they get their own share of injuries, they’ve been incredibly lucky in this regard.Great news for Liverpool

Probably just as good news for City too, the way Stones has been playing recently!Great news for Liverpool
Lol they were pretty fucked defence-wise before his injury, but now...
Walker also supposed to still be struggling big time and Cancelo might be starting over him soon.
Guess they’ll be splashing obscene money again come January...
Poor planning though as they don’t seem to have much cover at all at centre back and recent analysis has shown Stones and Otamendi don’t play that well as a combination.
Guardiola doesn’t seem to be able to balance his squad well as same with left back where they only had Mendy at one point and he was then out all season (and arguably he’s not that good considering the cost).
Looking at their squad he only seems to have three senior centre backs unless I’m missing someone? All clubs should have at least four if not five centre backs in squad.
I've just been looking at their fixtures and based on current form there's nothing coming up in the league that would worry them too much until November. Their Champions league group isn't the most difficult one either :
Today Shaktar Donetsk (A)
21/9 - Watford (H)
28/9 - Everton (A)
1/10 - Dinamo Zagreb
6/10 - Wolves (H)
19/10 Palace (A)
22/10 Atalanta (A)
26/10 Villa (H)
2/11 Southampton (H)
6/11 Atalanta (H)
9/11 Liverpool (A)
23/11 Chelsea (H)
They always seem to get a dead easy group in the CL.
Meanwhile this article made me laugh. Like you said about Guardiola moaning about players being too expensive above, City always seem to plead poverty when they’ve been one of the biggest factors in price and wage inflation over the last decade.
Perhaps if they hadn’t spent sixty million on Mahrez to sit on their bench, then they’d have been able to squeeze a centre back into their FFP equations.
Manchester City’s refusal to pay above the odds is hurting Pep Guardiola | Jamie Jackson
