I agree with this. My wife and I discussed this after someone else famous was caught. She said if it was me, she would forgive me, and I called her stupid for it. Anyone who cheats and is forgiven, has a licence to do it again. They just know how to hide it better.

Also, there are plenty of women marrying footballers for their lifestyle. It's losing that lifestyle that scares people. Sometimes they need to just walkaway. Sometimes it’s just a mutual marriage of convenience.
That’s what someone who’s cheating would say….. 👀

He got applause from east and south. He only got booed when he dived in his own area to win a free kick late in the second half. I couldn’t see if it was a dive but it looked it. He got a few boo’s and that was it. Nothing too harsh from what I saw. Unless I missed something.

I wasn’t there, but he was clearly being booed whenever he touched the ball at certain times in the first half. Maybe there was an incident to prompt it, although I didn’t notice.

Anyway, I’m sure he doesn’t care, but as far as I’m aware he hasn’t said anything remotely derogatory about the club since he left, so I just felt it was a bit bitter and classless from a section of our fans.

I didn’t hear him get booed when he touched the ball, only that diving incident. It was very near where I sit. But he might’ve been getting booed the other end of the ground though he mainly stayed RB which is where I am near. Maybe I’m going deaf. You sure they weren’t say boo-urns?

I think in this scenario she has been humiliated twice and most women wouldn't accept that especially with the same woman - also what a nasty piece of work that other one is! Disgusting what some women will do and he is worse messing it up for his wife and kids. Urgh, grubby all round and the result is kids with minimal contact with their parents. The fact these footballers/high status men have so little integrity or discipline when it comes to their peckers is genuinely odd.

I think most men are the same its just that most don't get the opportunity.

Maybe a lot are but don't tar us all with that brush.
I would never behave like that and I never have, even when the opportunity has presented itself in my married days.
I didn't choose to start a family with my wife, only to treat her like shit if the chance came along.
I was raised to be a gentleman.

That’s a sad statement.
I think ‘most men’ is a stretch, but clearly a lot of wankers with zero respect (for their partner and how their actions will impact nearest and dearest).

I’ve been married 9 years and been offered sex by woman that know I’m married and they've had no issues with pushing me to cheat on my wife.

The issues in play are absolutely not one sided here, but it takes trust to remain true to your own values and integrity.

True, I've been married for 12 years and couldn't think of ruining my family life for a 'bit of fun'. The fallout is too terrible. People like the woman you speak of are scummy.

I don't think it's most men, but opportunity certainly plays a part. Women will almost always have the opportunity to sleep around if they don't it's because they are selective. Men are not choosey at all really but still don't get the opportunity(this is all generally speaking). There was a study done a couple of years back in America where it showed that a high number of young men in their 20's, like 1 in 3 hadn't had sex for over a year. It was a much smaller % of women in that age bracket. The reason it doesn't balance out is because it's actually a small number of men sleeping with a lot of women.........because of opportunity.

You couldn’t do that to Betty and Jessica.

Not just limited to footballers though is it. High value sports players in all sports, Movie stars, Musicians(famous ones) etc etc, take your pick. Fact is high value men(from a women's POV) have tons of options throwing themselves at them all the time, and a lot of them will cheat.

I'm not saying it's right or clever, I'm saying generally speaking these women know what they are signing up for, and if they want to keep the status they have for being with these men they accept it.

Not just high powered men either. A very good friend of my wife is a cosmetic / makeup artist at the very high level in Hollywood etc and she has shared some things that these guys and girls do and it’s mental really.

It’s not an excuse, however they live completely different lives and very rarely spend time together, resulting in almost all of them having affairs of some description!

Is it the bible that says 'Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone'.
I'll sit at the back and just watch if that's OK.

I never would, even if Jessica once did a Whoopsie in my Beret!

I showed my 10 year old daughter an episode of Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em thinking she might like it…. and now she’s totally obsessed with it. *

* unfortunately I don’t have an 11 year old son crying story to share as well :D

I'm not blaming her, he's 100% to blame. I'm asking why she's stayed with him for so long?

For some of these women it's 100% about the lifestyle that being a footballers wife provides. It's the photoshoots and Cartier kitting them out for red carpet events, the social media following they'd have never got without their partner/husband. It's not all of them, but it's certainly a decent number. Like I said some of the stories I've heard about footballers and their relationships, I'm pretty damn sure this is the case.

There are far more attractive women out there than there are extremely rich celebrity men.

I agree with you.

There are no victims, only volunteers (tongue in cheek)

Ie people will treat you how you allow them to treat you.
