Wonder if Chesterfield can get the 1997 FA cup semifinal replayed after they had a perfectly good goal chalked off ?

I honestly think.this is Klopp and Liverpool trying to pressure and force VAR and referees to give them a lot of favourable decisions this season. They will keep this pressure on for another couple of weeks.
Sad bit is i feel they will relent to the pressure and will favour Liverpool in coming weeks, months
IF they do i hope the affected teams apply the same pressure and crying as Klopp and Liverpool have....
Spot on! But other teams crying and applying pressure will hardly get a second look. It would have to be United and maybe Arsenal, due to the former being as huge as Liverpool and the latter with a huge online fanbase presence.

People actually suggesting this is a tactic to get favourable decisions in the future. Come onnnnnn, fucking hell, thank that through guys :D
I think it has merit. What referee would want to face such an uproar again in future? As a referee you would probably be extra cautious reffing Liverpool games and will tend to give decisions that you're not 100% sure on in their favour.

So, Var makes an error and - if the game was replayed - we maybe then become victim of that mistake!? What I’m trying to say is: ‘why should spurs (possibly) jeopardise our three points?’
We played the game fair & square and came out victorious. It isn’t for us to be held to account… the argument Liverpool need to have is with the league etc. It’d be MORE unfair for us to be forced into a replay.

And I would like a circa 1991 Monica Bellucci to fall madly in love with me.
Shes fine to this day.
To be fair to them dont even bother replaying the match. As that goal would have given them the lead just swap the 3 points.

Give them their damn reply.
Happily beat the tearful twats again.

edit: this is an attempt at humour. No need for the disagree ratings.

Yes agree mate the FA only fear the rich clubs but i think they know Levy will take no shit and would be the first to do something if it were to happen. No flies only Levy lol.

1000% agree but FA are clowns and weak and most likely cave to the pressure from Klopp and Liverpool.
Doesn't hrlp matters when Skysports back their lovechild 100%.

Premier League are not going to replay this game everybody knows it , Klopp can go on as much as he likes , it's not going to happen.
Of course in the days before VAR every weekend football highlights show contained continuous replays of goals that should have been ruled out , goals that should not have been ruled out and countless penalty claims with virtually every fan of every club complaining about injustice of it all, shall we go back ?
Yes please!

I agree completely. There is no way in a hell a replay of the match happens but I guarantee they moan and moan for the next few months decades and they will get call after call after call to go their way, some of them blatantly wrong, and when the opposition complains, fuck all will happen
You're welcome.

I would be very surprised if Levy takes action in such a scenario. He’s not the type to kick up a fuss. I don’t recall if he said anything about the Liverpool penalty in the UCL final.

Jurgen Klopp wants the Premier League game against Tottenham to be replayed after Luis Diaz's goal was wrongly disallowed by the video assistant referee.

VAR Darren England and assistant Dan Cook did not overrule when Diaz was flagged offside at 0-0 on Saturday.
Liverpool lost 2-1 thanks to a 96th-minute own goal from Joel Matip.

"Something like this never happened, so that is why I think a replay is the right thing to do," said Klopp.

I understand his frustration and as football supporters we have all been there… but really a replay sounds like sour grapes. We were fortunate agreed but VAR is a shambles at times but we have to live with it but thats current day football. You take the rough with the smooth. Sometimes you win decisions and some you do not. Come on Klopp add another game to an already congested season……..I would love that if Spurs won 4-1….well I can dream. COYS

We’ll I think it’s a huge stretch.

They will need to start the game with 9 players though.
Absolutely this.

What a ridiculous statement from Klopp. 90 mins their 9 against our 11 as the sending off were correct decisions.

Where does it stop. 1986 world cup quarter final would have to be replayed as I believe that VAR may have ruled Maradona's goal as a potential handball.......Would be difficult to go back though and at least one of the players would not be available for selection but it would mean that the competition would have to be replayed And ultimately that is fair for England.

VAR should be better, but statements made by Klopp suggest that his team is the only team in history to be impacted by technology, when most teams can point to wrong decisions made by VAR and prior to VAR.

It's not that I don't want Liverpool to get a rematch because I'm afraid of losing.

I don't want the rematch because I don't want these whiny bastards to get their own way through these means.
