Jose clearly doesn't trust the players who keep making the same mistakes, you have Dele Bale Vinicius gathering dust on the bench and persist with trying to get PEH Sissoko and Winks in the same team at home to Fulham. I thought PEM was suppose to solve these problems with our weak defence we were crying for a solid midfield General but still look vulnerable especially when Mourinho goes into chicken mode.

Levy has to get the cheque book out fast.

So Jose can still be a coward?

3 points off 2nd and in a Cup Final midway through season and the amount of bitch whining going on because we dropped 2 points because we weren't clinical enough in our finishing. Get a grip folks.

Fifa generation I guess.

I think the despair in this scenario is mainly because Fulham at home felt like one of the few bankers this season so to see us lose ground on the top 4 is doubly painful. Granted Fulham were better than expected.

You are right there is still plenty to play for and a long way to go but we really need to get back to winning ways fast.

Like you say we did create enough to win the game today but even Jose himself admitted the performance wasn't good enough.

Need to bounce back on Sunday. These two games were looking like a good springboard for us back into contention before Liverpool. Now we need a win just to keep up.

Yeah I get it. Maybe I'm just too long in the tooth to let it bother me that much. Never as good as they say you are when you win, never as bad as they say you are when you lose (or draw in this case).

Come May if we have a pot or 2 and CL football next season no-one will give a rats arse about dropping 2 points to Fulham. It's all still very much game on in a totally unpredictable season.

It’s this combined with the fact that we’ve only just come off the back of a dodgy run. This game was one we had to win to keep the fragile recent momentum going. We needed a second goal but totally backed off in the second half for no apparent reason. The result was not unfair. It was also yet another game in which we’ve conceded a late goal. There were so many reasons why today felt like a first nail in a coffin.

It’s actually glorious how quickly this place turns on Jose after we don’t get the result we expected. Don’t think I’ve seen it under another manager in my 13+ years on this forum.

Always, the insomnia I've acquired since my bout of Covid just means I have more hours to waste at night than during the day.

Had insomnia since I was a kid. Only actually realised it a couple of years ago. It never used to bother me but now I'm getting on a bit I just feel knackered 90% of the time.

It's blighted me over the years, this current form has been since Christmas, it's crippling at the moment.

Should that beat Fulham? Or at least try to?

It was also good enough to beat City so by that rationale we should be putting everyone to the sword.

These disparate results basically sum up a squad that is mentally weak. If the players aren't executing the coach's tactics then who is to blame?

Dont forget that these same players spent 18 months not executing Poch's tactics.
