That genuinely sounds like it's coming from the mouth of Jose himself.

Laughably defensive of a guy who hasn't delivered in years, let alone for Spurs.

And worst of all? Financially we're stuck with him.
Delivered in every job he has had, including the last one with a really shite Man Utd squad.

And? There's more to being a footballer than scoring goals. The tactics are hardly allowing others to contribute much either. Fulham are dogshit, we should be trouncing them.
How do you propose we 'destroy' Fulham without goals then...?

I'm genuinely not here to defend jose, but I think it's only fair that the players shoulder the responsibility as well. If they can't muster the courage to beat Fulham at home, then that's on them as well. We created 15 chances, 6 on target. Not exactly 'negative' is it?

3 points off 2nd and in a Cup Final midway through season and the amount of bitch whining going on because we dropped 2 points because we weren't clinical enough in our finishing. Get a grip folks.

Fifa generation I guess.
I’m not FIFA generation, I just resent us continually dropping points, mostly at home it sends, to far inferior sides because we play them as if they are Brazil 1970. One fine. Twice.. understandable.

But West Ham, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Fulham that is 4 points from 12 against sides far where than us who came back from behind because we dropped our pants, bent over and handed them the KY.

We missed chances tonight which sucks but that second half, with a fully rested side out, v a team that took the game at 48 hours notice... sorry but that’s inexcusable. And when your remedy is to leave proven goalscorers in this league, regardless of form, on the bench but bring on a charlatan who has managed a goal or assist once every 4+ matches over 7.5 seasons in this league, and give the guy who has just scored a hatrick just the final 8 minutes, that just screams of someone who is talking a far better game than he’s able to walk.

I hope I’m wrong, because he’s not going anywhere anything soon, but they guy is proving right everyone who doubted him. And no, a league cup wouldn’t make this worthwhile, because Covid permitting we have 17 matches minimum because the final, that’s minimum 1530 minutes of misery if Mourinho doesn’t figure out that you can’t try the same tricks v the relegation battlers as you do v the title challengers.

We have one of the best Strikers in the world (top 5 easy), we have Son we have a strong side everywhere and you think we shouldn't finish top 4?

My opinion is that it isn't that strong.

I have posted elsewhere about the quality of the squad but suffice to say the following are not good enough for where we want to be:-

Aurier
Doherty (on Jose)
Davies
Sanchez
Dier
Winks
Sissoko
Lucas
Gedson
Lamela
Bale (let's not kid ourselves)

Jury's out on Bergwijn and Toby, though quality, is coming to the end of his time with us.

That is half the squad which are not at the level we need.

That'd be about the same for your reasoning for the past half an hour. Makes us even - just.

@scat1620 I don't mean that, the love of a good game and the escapism it brings is far better than the Eeyore shaped cloud Spurs carry some times.

He’s a lucky man. If the fans were in the stadium he’d be being ripped to pieces for serving up this football every week.

The level of ambition in that game tonight was shocking. Against a team that is at the foot of the table.

I’m genuinely fed up with it now.

Should that beat Fulham? Or at least try to?

Jose clearly doesn't trust the players who keep making the same mistakes, you have Dele Bale Vinicius gathering dust on the bench and persist with trying to get PEH Sissoko and Winks in the same team at home to Fulham. I thought PEM was suppose to solve these problems with our weak defence we were crying for a solid midfield General but still look vulnerable especially when Mourinho goes into chicken mode.

Levy has to get the cheque book out fast.
