Late equaliser against Newcastle.
Inexplicably surrendered a 3 goal lead against West Ham in the final 10 minutes of the game.
Late equaliser against Palace.
Late winner against Liverpool
Late equaliser against Wolves
Late equaliser against Fulham

I'm sick to fucking death of watching this shit. What is Mourinho doing?

Forgetting the FA Cup and the Europa League because we still have a long way to go in those competitions, we are on course to possibly win the Carabao Cup and finish 6th in the league because Man Utd, Liverpool, Leicester, Man City and Everton (arguably) all look considerably better than us.

If I was told at the start of the season that we'd play the most frustratingly negative "football" I've seen as a Spurs fan and spend large chunks of the season switching the television off mid-game because I knew the outcome already, just to be rewarded with sixth place and a Carabao Cup, I'd have told you to fuck off on the spot.

I watch football because I love the sport. I don't want to turn into a wet wipe but we've always been known for "winning with style" and if we do win the Carabao Cup, it'll be a 1 or 2-0 shithousing where we spend the majority of the game grinding our nails into oblivion. I hate watching us play football. Whether Mourinho wins the Carabao Cup or not, the majority of fans will be calling for his head come the end of the season.

Winning what with style? Games? Where we have zero to show for it? In modern footballing times we've won fuck all.

I'm as frustrated as you mate. But if we win the FA cup, or a Europa, it will be a fucking massive day for me because in my lifetime we've won 1 major trophy (FA cup 91). We've won sod all. We played lovely under Poch for 18 months. It wasn't swashbuckling for his whole spell with us. And in that great 18-24 months of really attractive football what do we have to look back on. The nearly team, that's what.

I'm not enjoying the displays where we keep defending 1 nil leads. Its boring and infuriating.

But if he wins us an FA cup or Europa it'll be the first time in 30 years we've won what i'd call a major trophy.

Sorry, I'm frustrated and you're a good poster. I just get narky at this notion that the spurs way is winning with style. Cos in reality we win fuck all.

I just fail to believe that Dele would let us down moreso in a game like this.
Dele, Bale, fuck it throw in Alfie fucking Devine.

I admire Sissoko the person and I think he has a wonderful attitude, but much like Lamela his only purpose is off the bench to make things awkward for the opposition.

To be fair, I don't think Bale or Dele have shown they would be much more of a threat in the games they have played.

3 points off 2nd and in a Cup Final midway through season and the amount of bitch whining going on because we dropped 2 points because we weren't clinical enough in our finishing. Get a grip folks.

Fifa generation I guess.

For an experienced manager / coach, I’m surprised that he keeps on making the same mistakes time after time.

Stop talking about your past achievements Jose. The Spurs fans are more interested in the here and now.

Have a look at Poch's last 18 months. We threw away plenty of points against mid table/relegation teams.

Why are you comparing us to that team? He’s had a lot of time with the squad, and two windows in which we’ve invested. The summer window was an almost unparalleled success by our standards.

Let’s take a look at the first choice team (almost all of whom are fit and available)

Kane - world class
Son - world class
Bergwijn - Jose purchase and decent player
Ndombele - £50m midfielder who most agree is very very good
Lo Celso - £40m midfielder made permanent under Jose
Hojbjerg - Jose purchase, everyone agrees is very good
Reguillon - expensive Jose purchase, most agree is very good
Toby - big contract awarded by Jose. Most agree is still good.
Dier - England regular starting CB, most agree is at least half decent.
Doherty - Jose first choice RB purchase.
Lloris - world class GK

Is the team REALLY that bad?

I didn’t even want to use that phrase, if im completely honest. I meant more as in we are known for playing with an attractive, attacking style of football. That’s the Tottenham I love, not this monstrosity Mourinho has put together.

Without a shadow of doubt I’d love us to win the FA cup or Europa league. That totally changes things. I omitted them because there is still so much football to be played in those competitions.

My argument was a hypothetical one based on things we know: we have a 50/50 chance of winning the Carabao Cup which, for me, is just a tiny notch up from the Community Shield and there are 6 clubs who are currently outperforming us consistently in the league.

If we finish this season in 6th place with a Carabao Cup to our name, it will not be worth it for what we are having to suffer on a weekly basis.

On why Spurs can't see out games, Mourinho said: "There are things that have to be with the characteristics of players. Some things they have to do with organisation of team, but other things they have to do with individual skills, individual ability, and it's as simple as that"

Yet he leaves Dele & Bale on the bench & doesn’t make an attacking sub until it’s too late ? ?
