They've won the league 11 times running.
Barely last season and it seems like a few clubs are getting closer. Clubs like Bayern strive for the Champions League and no doubt Harry would have had that in mind too, they aren't beating the City's and the Madrid's of the world.

They've won the league 11 times running, it might be a lesser league but you don't get more guaranteed than that.
Exactly, the law of averages says that eventually someone else will win it, but overall, if he's there for three years or so, despite some of the wishful thinking, he'll very likely win several trophies and a couple of league titles.

Ill agree with you there, it was a weird choice but just shows how desperately he craves glory, whatever shape that may come in.

Except last night, he didn't have a clue. It may improve but my grandaughter could walk in to that team and come home with medals.

Just saw this cringy song. They obviously never saw his free kicks..

Well it'll hurt a while longer. I wish him well but looking forward to our season finally starting in a few hours.

So, it seems that the general feeling is that Bayern wanted Harry Kane to help them transition back to the top. So much for guaranteed trophies. Why the fuck has he left a transitioning team to join a transitioning team in a lesser league.

I really think he's cocked this up, it's worked in our favour but he should have run down his contract, have a fairwell season and then have his pick of the crop. Then if he decided to come back to England to break the record later on he might've only needed 20 goals. Can't help feeling he may not get the success he wants OR break the record.

I think there's a significant element in his going to Bayern of showing respect to Spurs and the fans by not staying in England. He may have cocked up, who knows, but the Spurs fan will find this a lot easier to stomach than having to play him repeatedly wearing City or Utd colours. I'm grateful for that at least.

Oh absolutely, it's the best possible result for us.

Feel like this video is a attack on the Geneva Convention. Early 2000s internet humour was less cringe. Sick

What I find strange is the idea that if or when Tuchel gets sacked, it'll all go tits for Harry. Surely if they get a 'better' manager in, the reverse is true. I guess we'll find out as the season progresses.
Knowing our luck, Kane will tell the Bayern board how impressed he was with Mr Postecoglu, and how Bayern could do with some extreme Ange Dad vibes after having Creepy Uncle Thomas.

They've already got a spare manager locked away in a broom cupboard somewhere!

At least they are likely to face them. There is no doubt that Bayern are one of the biggest 5 clubs in the world.

This press conference is worse than his *Hot Ones* interview. I don’t think it’s gonna be long before he realises he has mad a mistake, I dint mean by leaving us I mean by not waiting a year. He has mentioned us 3 times already.

Not arguing that, of course they are a massive club. So are United and Barcelona, as are Chelsea and Juventus. All clubs going through blips and a period of transition. I know they've won 11 straight but that stops eventually, every club hits a wall and even PSG aren't guaranteed to win every season, as has been proven.

I'm not saying they won't win, clubs like that always win, I'm saying he seems to have joined at a time when their best players are ageing and they look to rebuild, which can go one of two ways. Even he was having second thoughts before he went. But anyway, time will tell.

Maddison getting number 10 after Harry gave me an opportunity to have another perspective on how long we had him at the top.. The player before Harry to have the number 10 was Emmanuel Adebayor !!!

I think this is good evidence to show that other choices could be made if a player refuses to sign a new deal. There's no point trying to explain to me the financial differences, I already know and it doesn't change evidence of choice.

I think he will massively regret going to BM. I can see Tuchel being sacked soon and it turning into a nightmare.

He most definitely needs to play Harry in a different way to what he was doing last night, Harry's quality (alongside his finishing) comes to the fore when he drops deep and links the play. Last night he was playing as a poacher on a deep deep defence.
