While I totally understand how the move is good for all 3 parties, and we at least get a chunky fee for him... I think he was mad to go to Bayern Munchen. They were rubbish last season, and only spaffed the title because Dortmund blew it. They couldn't beat Monchengladbach last year for heaven's sake, and we were shite under Farke last year. They got so wound up by that they bought Sommer of us, the Stephan kuntz.

Bayern will be worse this season, and RB and Dortmund are going to be on their arse. Leverkusen are improving as well under Alonso.

H will score, naturally, but considering he could have had the pick of Real, Barca, PSG... he's gone for the bottom rung choice imo.

I've obviously got those posters on ignore. 😂

Anyone bitter towards Kane after what he did for Tottenham is strange.

I don’t have a single poster on ignore, so I always see everything ( my eyes, my eyes 🫣).

There have certainly been some quite pathetic and bitter overreactions ( even taking into account the emotions involved).

Probably from the same sort of “grown men” that wear replica football tops when they’re not even at the football.

Don’t get some of the bitterness aimed at H. Gave us his best years and people wanted him to stay when we are a mess in the boardroom, showing no ambition?
Levy’s words today shows that.
He has one career and it was plain to see the chances of winning with us were getting slim every season.
Hope he wins something with Bayern this season, if he doesn’t, I’m not going to laugh and take the piss out of him and be nasty like some are. This guy is our all time goal scorer who dug us out many a time when things were shit.
No wonder we get the piss ripped out of us. Fickle fanbase.

People need to read between the lines a little bit here, I know some of the comments seem fickle but I suspect most are a little tongue in cheek.

Bottom line is he isn't our player anymore, for me personally, until he retires, he's just a player at another club that used to play for my club - if he returns/retires, it will all come flooding back.

He hasn’t missed a league game through injury for almost 3 years, and he hasn’t missed one due to an ankle injury since before Covid. I reckon Southgate is delighted with him having a lower workload. I’m gutted he’s gone, but I don’t think that’s a reason he’ll regret it
That was down to the work he was doing with a physio/rehab specialist every week.

I wonder if this guy is going to travel to Germany 🤔.

It's wierd how people are thinking he will fail, when his career was forged by sheer determination.

What I find strange is the idea that if or when Tuchel gets sacked, it'll all go tits for Harry. Surely if they get a 'better' manager in, the reverse is true. I guess we'll find out as the season progresses.

They might just rotate him for Nagelsmann for a bit and see how it pans out. If it's shite, wheel Tuchel back out.

I hope he does well. No malace.

People didn't want him to play yesterday, because of the banter. A lot of the banter sites on social media then wheeled out the banter about it being the spurs effect.

It's the same group of sites that do it. It's such a boring joke.

So, it seems that the general feeling is that Bayern wanted Harry Kane to help them transition back to the top. So much for guaranteed trophies. Why the fuck has he left a transitioning team to join a transitioning team in a lesser league.

I really think he's cocked this up, it's worked in our favour but he should have run down his contract, have a fairwell season and then have his pick of the crop. Then if he decided to come back to England to break the record later on he might've only needed 20 goals. Can't help feeling he may not get the success he wants OR break the record.

They've won the league 11 times running, it might be a lesser league but you don't get more guaranteed than that.

TBH I don't care about him anymore except playing for England, I watched the game out of interest, he looked lost, confused probably a bit like Greaves when he went to Milan. I could be wrong but this could be the biggest mistake of his life. He swapped us for easy glory, he got his medal (or not) which he got with us......Silver. He will go on to win things but is it really worth it? Never turned up in any final, for us, England and now Bayern Munich which was supposed to be a given.
