I thought this would be the week, where he goes or we announce he is staying. And if he goes we’d already have completed at least one new signing. But it has gone extremely quiet. Nothing seems imminent. So, guess everything is now resting on the last week of the window. It’s cutting it close. But if Levy, Paratici and Hitch have it all in hand, coolio. That said, as a Spurs fan you can’t help but feel antsy when stuff like this is going on. It’s a Pavlovian response to a habitual transfer window cycle of getting excited about rumors and promise, only to not quite get what we were hoping for in the end. Sincerely wishing it’ll be different this time. I’d also like to believe there is a deadline for City to bid and it’s this week. Time is ticking away. Let’s cross our fingers that those behind the scenes are working the hell outta the plan and by September 1, it will all come into focus. ???
Oh cry me a fucking river Harry. Just how will you deal with getting paid a disgusting amount of money to play for your supposed favourite club? Have a word with yourself
Still baffles me all this. Kane would only have gone this route if he had assurances City would pay the money. Guess what he thought was the price wasn't what Daniel had in mind and what Daniel had in mind isn't what City are prepared to pay. Guess they don't want him as badly as the Kanes initially thought.
Was listening to a Spurs pod earlier, ex player and Spurs fan Darren Ambrose was on. Either he or the host brought up why didn't City go for Kane first because it was the more complex deal? Grealish had a clause, so was pretty simple all things considered.
