Manchester City’s bid understood to be £125m in total – but Daniel Levy is refusing to even discuss what would be a new British record deal. Harry Kane has thrown down the gauntlet to Daniel Levy to make good on an understanding that he could leave Tottenham Hotspur if the club failed to win a trophy or finished outside the top four last season.

He is a spineless weasel, he is saying everything he can to a) get his move and b) try to pacify Spurs fans and is failing miserably. If there was any truth behind any of it Harry would speak up, so far he has said NOTHING. He still hasn't handed in a transfer request FFS.

Kane has come out of this looking terrible lol

Even if you believed that Levy did promise he can leave Spurs if they didn't match his ambition everything that Kane has done to try and get himself out of the club has just been poor.

The interview he did with Neville before our season ended spoke volumes about him, since then his behaviour was always going to be questioned.

It's a great PR piece but it's just a rehash of what's been in the media before and I suspect that the reason that Levy is 'refusing' to sell him is that the offers are considerably below the starting point that he was willing to negotiate from. This smacks to me yet again of City wanting to get him for considerably below his worth and someone has been willing to write a piece which is very sympathetic to Kane and useful to city.

He should be telling Man City to pay what he's worth and he should put in a transfer request and forego his loyalty bonus (what a fucking joke that is when he's apparently got no idea what loyalty is).

Just when the media was turning its attention to our performances on the pitch, The Kanes rear their heads again.
Let him warm the bench until the January window.

I don't think City come out of this looking great, tapping up a player, talking about him publicly then leaving him pissing into the wind.

Kane and his brother/agent are naive when it comes to transfers, his brother having never negotiated one, let alone for one of the worlds best players, all this “broken promise” talk is childish.

Transfers are about money, that’s it.

Harry, get it into your thick head that you can fucking go as agreed. They just haven't made a good enough offer for you yet. You think you can leave for peanuts?

Nearly every assertion and spin in the Telegraph is contradicted in the Daily Express.
It's all speculation and aimed at creating 'news'. Add that to so called 'insider' info (media directed) and you create this melting pot of bad vibes...
Which creates clicks and advertising revenue.

Noone has a clue whats going on apart from those directly involved.

And, further to add, the only deal that is factual and exists is the one both parties signed. The rest, in my uninformed opinion, is spurious conjecture

Are you still here …. Just shut up now … it’s not all about you Kane(S) …wait ur “dream”move if city value you you’ll get it - and you’d probably have gone by now if you just kept tight lipped - even my 13 year old knows when to stop talking! …in the meantime can we focus on football

Problem is, they're in a one horse race with nobody else interested and they've got Kane and his dimwit brother doing their bidding for them. We're being pulled in both directions but I'm confident Levy will dig in. Personally, I'd love Kane to fuck off and us to have funds to rebuild, but at the same time I hate the idea of him getting anything he wants now.

I think Harry will find this
difficult if not impossible
to resolve this to everybody's satisfaction.

A grovelling apology to all Spurs fans
a pledge to stay at least another season
or forever, whichever is longer
and a very large donation to SC
a year's salary seems about right
might just swing it.

Maybe Gary Neville should do a "We've had a one game left interview now let's do a one game gone interview"

I'm in that boat with you, I want him out but I want it on our terms not theirs.
