I think the game was a fucking disaster and Conte is responsible for it, but this is correct. From recollection we were four at the back from the moment Richarlison was sent on.
Indeed
We were from early second half in usual 5-2-3 with Porro Lenglet Romero Davies Emerson
Then he brought Richarlison on and we basically went 4-2-4 with Davies swapping to left back.
Then the clown got sent off and for 7 or 8 minutes we were playing just Porro Lenglet and Davies at the back, with Sanchez on sideline waiting to come on for some 5 mins of that time, when he did come on we reverted back to 4 at the back

He’s acted like a prick basically 100% of the time while he’s here. Acted too good for us, constantly making allusions to leaving, etc etc.
Considering what he has gone through on a personal level, that is pretty harsh. As a football manager/head coach sure I get it, but as a human being who has lost a few close friends out of nowhere? Nah can't get on board with that.
Well we aren’t exactly going down the pub with him or playing tennis at the club are we? I’m sure he’s a good father and that, but how a man does one thing is how he does everything. And how he’s carried himself as Spurs manager has been shocking and disrespectful in all areas.

He has shown no respect to the fans or to the football club. With his stubbornness, his awful attitude towards the club and fans, his open and blatant positioning of himself for another job. Would you respect anyone else who constantly acts like they’re above you and performs poorly while doing it?

He has shown fuck all respect to us, as shown by the shite job he’s done. Why does he deserve our respect in return?

He literally came back from surgery early to do his job. For all his faults, he still cared enough to come back against doctor's orders. If he really didn't care all that much he wouldn't have done that. He lost a close friend who was a member of the staff at the club, and lost others. He has been a poor manager and coach for us, but as a man outside of the football he has my respect, because suffering personal tragedy after personal tragedy in a short space of time is tough for anyone. Especially if your wife and children are in another country from you.

This is a really strange take.

Where has he opened himself to other jobs? Because he hasn't signed a contract.

He didn't do a shite job last season and earned respect from that. So much of football is the here and now, and yet, we have fans clamouring for the past with Poch.

I don't know where or how exactly he's been disrespectful to the club and fans. He's called out issues in the club, he's called for fans to be patient and supportive. He's called for time. He's done everything we've needed and wanted a manager to do in terms of calling the club out for support and backing. He's sang off the a me hymn sheet as us in that respect and it's been needed since before Poch even walked in the front door.

Conte has lost 3 close friends, one who worked with him here, and has just returned from surgery. He deserves respect for that alone. I can't even begin to describe how hard it is for me to loose 2 family members in the last 12 months to you, without taking this thread way off track.

The issue is we're not winning football games and you seem to in hyperbolic form, that's fine, I get people are angry and upset and disappointed, but calling him scum? Really? Paints you in no better a light than you're trying to paint him.

I was watching the highlights of this make it break match and one thing stood out for me, we just didn't seem to want it. There was no fight, yet we were only 1-0 down.

If we compare that to that night in Amsterdam and literally being down and out, yet the players found something extra to go and keep fighting. Forget the result, just the fact they fought even though they were in horrible form. That fight and passion just isn't there at the moment. The manager has to find it, it's literally his job.

I've always tended to plead patience for whoever is in charge when they're going through a bad patch at Spurs, but on this occasion, I've lost all patience and sympathy for him.

He wants to leave, the players don't enjoy playing, the fans don't enjoy watching - fire him.

I'm not sure what reason there is for keeping him on at this point.

I'd imagine it's pretty dour behind the scenes.

If there is no reason for him to be here anymore, then there surely is only one action. May as well execute it sooner rather than later.
