too fairly evenly matched sides going at it. Cant complain about application or entertainment, really enjoyed it. Hope that is an indication of how we are going to be approaching games.

Not happy to go out, but at the end of the day sometimes you just dont get what you deserve in football.

can only assume Jose didn’t think NDombele had the legs for ET and/or saving him for city so had to make the change, but we really miss Gio

He asked to go off, apparently.

I just wish our second string midfield options weren’t so much worse than our first.

In extra time Winks and Sissoko come on. Surprise, surprise we lose. It was summed up by the ‘shot’ the useless Winks produced at the end. There is so much good about our club but the dead wood has to go.

Exactly. Man for Man can we say we are better than Everton. Possibly only Kane, son, Ndombele get into there team. Serious look at Hitchen for assembling this shower of crap.
Winks, Sissoko, Alli, all showing why they shouldn’t start.
Or even come on as subs

Winks and Sissoko horrible
Dele at least moves into space

Well we played our part in a cracking game and I don't feel like I wasted two hours of my life.
It's the lack of that little bit of quality in the moments that matter. I look at Siggy's magic little chip for the winner and wonder Who would have done that in our side? Siggy does it all the time.
We can lament the personnel at the end but to be honest it was the three goals in six minutes that did for us, we lost our composure a little but when we got it back we matched them and more.

Luckily I’m not an immature, whiny piss baby like some of you, because if I was I’d probably write something really facetious like HARRY WANKS, instead of Harry Winks

It’s genuinely insulting that Harry Winks mouths off to the press that he isn’t getting the game time he deserves. He wouldn’t even stand out in West Brom’s midfield.

If there is any truth to the rumour that Winks is stirring up anti-Jose sentiment in the squad then he needs to go. He should have no expectations to be anything more than a squad player for us. And Dele really didn't do himself any favours either.

Was an entertaining game though, but highlights the real challenges Jose faces.

Not bottled - just silly mistakes. We need upgrades.
Is that not bottling it? Maybe my definition is different. Or wrong, I guess. Don't get me wrong there were plenty of positives to take from that game, but I think a lot of players either didn't really turn up or made silly mistakes in an important knockout game. Toby, Hugo, Davies, Lucas, Dele, Winks, Sissoko, Hojbjerg in the first half. Just more of the same in a different wrapper at times.

Yup, we're about the level of Everton now, lost to them twice narrowly this season, they, along with likes of Leicester and Wolves are our level in the coming seasons.

I'm the opposite. This game proves that we can't play attacking football, because our defence is horrible.
The defence needs improving - new players are needed but the football we have been playing recently wasn't achieving anything.

Without Gio we need to protect Ndombele. I don’t blame Jose for the sub it was a calculated risk. He knows Winks is shite but Ndombele being run into the ground is the last thing we need. Unfortunately the squad has been stretched that little bit thin tonight.

I don't blame Jose at all for that, didn't have much choice

A great cup tie real old school and played as though the FA Cup really mattered and reminiscent of decades gone by, nobody can say we didn't give it a real go, never giving up, my only complaint is the defending by us wasn't even Sunday pub League standard, it was worse than that.
