It would benefit everyone other than teams from the Prem. In their eyes this is the equalizer because they are losing out on players they would normally get as well as TV money. This whole thing just needs to sod off.
It's an awful idea and if Spurs joined it I'd be furious...in fact I'd likely be looking for a new club.
But as others above has said it would be idiotic anyway. It doesn't benefit anyone other than Real and Barca as far as I can see.
PSG don't care because they are backed by oil money so they don't want to rock the boat. Bayern is fine as is and they know that if they joined Germany would go bonkers, Italian clubs could benefit greatly but so far I think only Inter announced no to it but I bet you Milan and Juve are licking their lips due to their financial problems.
Real and Barcelona are seeing the writing on the wall that they might fall down the pecking order and are essentially throwing their toys out and kicking and screaming until they get their way. The thing is with the amount of money that is on the line, it's really only a matter of time before they go Saudi/MBS to figure out a way that they could financially back the operation to get it going and offer massive payouts to clubs that join them. This last part I'm just making up in my head but how farfetched is it really? The Super League brought to you by Travel Saudi.
