:stupid: But Huddlestone is getting thinner and doing well under Juande Ramos. I guess Mido (A thinner one) could work well for the team. What do you think?:shrug::shrug:

Mido is excellent. He was never shit, merely rusty, exactly how Bent is now

I always felt Mido needed to play ever week to get the best out of him, he wasn't a bad player, but sadly light years behind Berba so he was never gonna play every week once we got him on board.

No chance for Reid, what shocks me most about him is that we were linked with this guy for about 2 years, so we must have done a lot of research on him, and he still turned out shite.

Clearly you have never seen him play for Ireland, as good a passer as the much rated Carrick and the overly rated Gerrard.

He has a stocky build and is short, it's not really weight, either way he can prove himself, had been performing excellently for Charlton until injured. Then they start losing games...

Mido's weight wouldn't have been improved under Ramos becuase he's always sodding injured.

Reid is sub rate. Being fat doesn't excuse being rubbish.

Reid is an excellent championship player, just not quite up to the step up to the Prem...

Mido just annoys me and I haven't really got any rational explanation as to why. Maybe it's the ol' unfulfilled potential thing... could be class, just never really seemed to want it enough.

You must have a rational one, though?

The Apprentice is right. Mido's weight wasn't a problem when he was playing regularly, the problem was the dreaded Pharoah's Groin.

There must be something seriously wrong with our scouting.

Mido might work well under Ramos, but doubt about Reid as even if he could cut some weight, he is not a naturally fast runner, so guess would not fit in the Ramos system.

If Mido had the correct attitude he could be one of the finest strikers in Europe. However, he does not have the correct attitude and hence will continue to go from club to club. Since moving to Boro he's also been permanently injured.

Reid is a good player but did not succeed at Spurs was because he was played as a left sided midfielder as opposed to an attacking CM - which is where he plays for Ireland. Malbranque (while a much finer player all round) is also an attacking CM.

Yeah but wasn't Mido actually crapper when he slimmed down and lost his hair?
