I hope the boys can pull out a repeat of Dier's comments last season before the city game at home and specifically "I hear people say stuff about Tottenham and I don’t like it. I don’t think the other lads like it either"

I say this because right now, every fan of every club, including us, is saying what a bunch of pussy'ole bottle jobs they are. I hope they are exposed to every pundit, journalist, fan, ex-pro etc and whatever criticism they (rightly) get at this present moment, and use it to fuel them to a bounce back performance against the chavs.

Last night they did nothing to dispel the myth that we are a soft touch. If we can show the passion and aggression of last season, but show we have learnt from the headloss and actually pull out a result that would be a way to show the fans that they deserve our faith and support.

The complete lack of passion, aggression, positivity and fighting spirit really showed, and if that's the case, with players like Alli it doesn't matter how many nice touches or nutmegs you get, you're not going to win matches at the top level. I don't expect Wimmer or Trippier to smash a 40 yarder into the top corner but the bare minimum I expect is for them to put a foot in when needed and not shy away or shirk tackles.

If that lack of fight is evident on Saturday we are going to be in for a long and embarrassing night.

The difference in our play from last season is dramatic and worrying. We've gone from high press and scoring to passing it back to the keeper and kicking it out of play.
We look dreadful. Dier is a shadow of himself, Dele just looks like a petulant teenager and Eriksen hasn't started playing anywhere near how he can. We are slow and lack any creative spark. I can't believe it's the same team & manager. :banghead::(

Actions speak louder than words. Every time this team has been asked a question it has bottled it.....

I want us to play our very top team against CSKA and bollocks to any other considerations. We need to show some respect to the competition, and also to our fans, many of whom (like me) have paid for advance packages. And of course it might be our last CL game for a very long time.

This is a problem that only the team and manager can sort out we have been average this year apart from the city game, simply not good enough and questions rightly need to be asked of them.
