2 major positives I have learnt today

TS has the ability to dramatically change a game in a positive way.

But i dont think Benty and Demebele can play as a midfield 2.
We wont get away with that against other teams.

Nabil was excellent. Calm on the ball, knew the pass before he received the ball and way unlucky not to score. I would definitely still prefer us to play a 3 man midfield to unlock his partnership with Moose. If Capoue can be played behind Nabil - Moose i'm sure they could push up more and assist/score more goals.

Not necessarily. It could have been down to the players not being up for it or needing some minor adjustments to deal with their system. You can't always be in a position to go out there any dominate the game from the onset. The important thing (and this was a criticism fired at AVB) is that a manager can identify problems and make the relevant adjustments / changes.

however I suppose when people have so many agendas you could always spin it to suit your position.

Personally I thought it was a dire first half for whatever reason (I don't know and am not mystic so I can't say how much that was due to how TS set up the team), however what I do know is that whatever TS said at HT and his substitutions whether by luck or judgement, certainly had a bearing on the result. You have to nod your head at that.

How lucky were we in the first half, we are not going to outscore the opposition all the time.

This for me is the problem. As long a we keep getting away with then that will be ok but what happens when the oppo don't miss a penalty with the worst attempt of a pen I have ever seen and we go in a couple of goals down at HT it could already be too late to make changes to win the game.

I swear we are cloning players, does he not play the exact same way that Dembele does?? The two back heels they did to each other, it looked like it was one player doing it Matrix style.

The penalty had nothing to do with any of this - Dembele making an individual ridiculous decision was the cause of that.

We were very poor 1st half and great in the 2nd. Same team, same system. The system and players had nothing to do with the poor performance, they just went out like a bunch of fuckwits. TS laid into them and those same players, in the same system won the game.

It's working at the moment but that doesn't mean it will work all the time against every team we come up against.
