We're a football club you should sell players based on their quality and fit in the team not their resale value.

Romero, porro, van de ven, doggie, Son, Kulusevski all have sale value but none should be sold.

I wouldn't class them as saleable. Richarlison is because he's generally rated and would fetch money but not a key player and wouldn't be a significant loss.

I saw some stats (will have to find them) that our win percentage and points gained is much better when he starts.
yesterday we played so much better as soon as he came on.
I think people miss what he does on the pitch as they focus on his goal scoring. He brings so much more to the team.
He's the key to our high press

Thought he made a huge difference when he came on.

If he can stay fully fit I’d like to see: him, son,Johnson for rest of the season

Son has been off the boil for a while, even though he does still get a goal now and then, he's been largely ineffective for the rest of the games. I would like Werner on the left, his ball across the middle will be where Richarlison will get most of his goals I feel.

If we can get a better striker, we should get a new striker in, I would say keep Richarlison, but it all depends on if any of the youths will play as 2nd choice, if not keep Richarlison for rotation.

Werner out now so think it's likely to be Richarlison up top and Son left. Although could be Johnson left and Kulusevski right.

No way we drop som but would probably be the right team.

I think I'd start kulu through the middle, Johnson right, son left and Richy up top. Give Maddison a rest and let Sarr, Bissouma and kulu set the midfield tone.

Would only be 2 of those 3 in the middle but yeah it's not a bad shout. Could also go back 3 now with Davies also out now. Would be funny if we went 343 and showed how it works in an attacking team.

It may well discombobulate the opposition.

I'm not sure about Lulu setting the tone anymore. She's 75 and makes me wanna shout...

We need a big upgrade on him. Was never convinced he was the striker that we wanted or needed when we signed him. He’s constantly injured and doesn’t seem to have that strikers instinct to want to score goals.

pleased to read that we are looking to offload come the summer.

I love his attitude, would be happy for him to stay and compete with another forward, but I think we will sell.

Just dont think he's going to score enough goals in the end.

In this system, its quite obvious we're going to need 2/3 goals every game to win a game, and Richy isnt going to hit the numbers we need.

Would keep if he wasn't so injury prone or if he was better technically. Firmino wasn't able to score 20+ goals but he was great at dribbling, passing, one-twos, knew when to drop deeper and help out etc. Won't be upset if we keep him either.

Yes, because the alternatives are poorly suited to Anges system. Still doesn't mean Richie is right, though. I like him and think he's got a great attitude, but I don't really think he's of sufficient quality for where we need to get to. I would not be unhappy were he to be replaced.

Keep for me.
I can see Ange selling him as he will raise a decent chunk of change and be quite easy to sell, he’s injured a lot of the time anyways and was a big conte buy who doesn’t particularly suit 💯 how Ange wants to play.

If we have a huge budget then yea I’d keep him as he’s been ok when fit and would be a good squad player but as part of the overall puzzle I can see Ange wanting to sell him to free up much needed funds.

Don't think we should be actively looking to sell, but rather be open to it if a very good offer comes in. What we need is another striker to compete with him, not Son as 9, and imo have Parrott as a club trained third choice next season.

Deserves to start every remaining game this season. Has been our best attacking player vs Liverpool and offers us a genuine threat as a CF.

He changed the game v arsenal too.
We gain more points with him in the team than we do without.

The only attacking player worth his wages in 2024. Has some poor games, but we absolutely cannot do without his energy and presence upfront.
