Haaland has taken City to a different planet. I think most teams will struggle against that sort of quality.

Except us. If they beat us it’ll be due to Conte’s tactics, Kane saving himself for the World Cup or him picking Emerson :D

This is what Kane would have been like if he'd been at Man City in 2019.

Nah, Kane is a better overall footballer but Haaland is a generational goal scorer.

I doubt Kane will win another golden boot whilst he's in the league.

Remember when people say Haaland wouldn’t cut it on the premiership and was always injured.

Yeah, city aren't wasting chances any more.

A few defeats over the years were because they either over played it or chances were wasted by Jesus, Sterling etc.

That's nit happening anymore

Messi and Ronaldo’s “unbreakable, once in a lifetime” numbers don’t seem so scary anymore - Lewa and Haaland are putting up absurd stats as well. What it tells us about the modern game?

Well I never made the claim he couldn't.

My doubt was whether he'd match a Pep team.

Because Pep likes to dominate possession and teams often dont play a high line, the doubt was whether he'd fit in with that.

My comparison was Zlatan who Pep didnt like in his system.

However after the first couple of games it became clear City were gonna play a bit more direct and actually look for the CF runs.

Its a shame because now they will completely dominate this league, dont think others will get close

The injury stuff is such wishful thinking as well.

He was only injured for a long spell last season because Dortmund rushed him back for a crucial CL game when he wasn't entirely fit. All his other injuries are just knocks and some can be attributed to growing pains in his earlier days.

The league (and modern football) might actually be done for the foreseeable future.

Financial doping.
Yep, while Pep and Haaland are at City they will win every single year.

We'll see what happens when one or both leave. United have proven that money can't buy you titles if you have the wrong manager or problems in the upper hierarchy.

To be fair I saw an interview with Pep and he said himself they were gonan have to change the way they play and it was clear they needed to in his first few appearances when he barely got a touch.
