Don’t know much about him.

But I have a question he’s dutch and just turned 28. Why has he not played more for Holland ? It’s not like they have been blessed in recent years.

Just curious as to why and if there is a reason that anyone knows of?

He played in the dutch league until 2 years ago. There have been dutch strikers in far bigger clubs during that time.
Personally I know very little about him but he seems like a younger and even larger Bas Dost.

Firstly, 'Netherlands' not 'Holland'. We'll sweep that aside.

I think the Dutch NT prefer the 'star factor' - or at least the likes of Hiddink and Koeman. No other reason why Janssen was getting in ahead of, well, anyone.

He’s 28 and only has 4 Dutch caps which is less than Vincent Janssen.

Is Wout a late developer?

Who are we getting rid of? Surely we don't have enough room for Weghorst and the Madrid lads?

Rose? Lamela? Aurier?

Well if we get Reguilon and Wout our non HG is 19, so any of Lamela, Sissoko, Foyth & Gazzaniga could well be shifted.

Rose doesn't have a squad number anyway

Dutch cap (plural Dutch caps) A type of woman's cap with triangular turn back at each side. The style is particularly associated with Dutch traditional costume. An intravaginal contraceptive device, also known as a cervical cap or diaphragm.

Played his first season in Eredevise 14/15. So quite a late developer in the modern game making his debut in the top-division at 22.

With all of the 'big' CFs we have been linked with, I believe he is the best option.

I'd have taken Vinicius but I believe signing a CF who has proven himself very well from the Bundesliga is a better option. Players from there do tend to adapt better, no guarantees but it's probably safer.

I like that he's very good at hold up and linking with others, but I also noticed he's quite a strong character, motivates quite a lot. His finishing is decent, although I've seen him make a mess of easy chances but he should get plenty of chances with us. Good in the air, and is a handful.

He's quite similar to Dost in that respect but Dost is useless with link up play.

First game against Leeds, Weghorst gets his leg broken.

The headline in the Yorkshire Post:

WOUT TAKEN OUT

Seriously though, what's the correct pronunciation here? He's Dutch right, so I'm reading it as "Vote".
