A third Brighton player has tested positive. I can't see how they can restart the season whilst things are like they are.
I’m quite shocked they are trying to restart I think it’s poor of the Premier League to be honest. I don’t think it’s safe at all, what is proposed has zero integrity. The fact it seems to be all about money is a sad reflection on the game. Risk health for a bunch of compromised football results, in a season that’s already lost/messed up. Money talks I guess. But it’s shameful.

I agree, but the longer it goes on the more financial strain it puts on all Clubs, some less able to cope like the big boys.

Personally I think the they should void the season and put all efforts into starting next season with a carefully thought out plan in place instead of wasting all this energy on these cluster fuck proposals they're coming out with.

Agree and I think a really tough decision has to be made, that the whole of next season is potentially behind close doors, it would then have integrity as every home and away fixture would be played in the same way. It’s far from ideal, still has problems with potential fans gathering but it would be a level playing field for all.

What is being discussed now, none of the options work, no one likes it obviously but it’s just a fact. Some hugely tough decisions are going to have to be made and the moment it doesn’t seem like they have really got any kind of plan it’s all just a fudge that doesn’t work. The looming issue is next season and what to do, a safe vaccine is not in any shape or form coming soon. This season is gone and they need to get on top of some pretty big decisions.

What you say is true and some of the bloated ugliness that the modern game has had for a long time is being laid bare now. The premier league is awash with money, small clubs have suffered and are really going to now. It’s a sad state what’s happening. The you have Newcastle being taken over by yet another dubious morally bankrupt people, they are rich we all know the league will turn a blind eye and they will pass the fit and proper test, because of money. It’s all a bit distasteful.

Watford opposition to the neutral venues and it’s perfectly understandable. I totally agree with the Watford chairman"So is this fair? Does it have any semblance of sporting integrity? Of course not."

This season is gone, there is no way around it. The fight to keep it going for money is all that remains. Integrity for fair results seem of no consequence.

Tbf that went back in '08 when the Premier League proposed an extra round of matches to be played at foreign venues.

Reading more about the return of Farceball, apparently the a Premier League are advising players to try and look away as they tackle. What an utter farce, it’s worse than friendly games.

These results are then supposed to be credible, what a joke. Actually it’s not a joke people are dying, but hey no matter as long as we don’t lose any ££££ it’s all good.

I can see that being a great ready made excuse for when someone gets his leg broken or elbowed in the face going up for a challenge. Oh sorry, I was told to look away when tackling...Fucking stupid desperate idea
